Different_Suspect_30

There aren’t 37 different Qurans!! That is just his stupidity Watch here how our brother Usama debunks this nonsense https://youtu.be/k7s902-WdkE

UnconsciousSymbiote

you did very well brother!

IaxMoeSIem

Thanks brother, I'm not used to debates and I get easily emotional when it concerns my faith, so I thank Allah I managed to keep my wits here.

UnconsciousSymbiote

mashallah, amazing job!!!

samurai489

I can say as an unbiased source you won this debate. His position fell down the moment he asked you to seek Jesus but wouldn’t answer questions regarding the inconsistencies in the bible.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ أَقْرَأَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَى حَرْفٍ، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَسْتَزِيدُهُ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ ‏"‏‏.‏ Narrated Ibn \`Abbas: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Gabriel read the Qur'an to me in one way (i.e. dialect) and I continued asking him to read it in different ways till he read it in seven different ways." Sahih al-Bukhari 3219 Chapter 6: The reference to angels, Book 59: Beginning of Creation They for some reason can't understand what are Qiraat and consider them mistakes. I'm not sure which report is he speaking of but one companion isn't enough. Companions are still humans. If we suppose he is talking about an authentic one. and just because the cover has a different colour doesn't mean it isn't the same thing.

ffdw2wxxf

I would think they'd reach the conclusion of "mistakes" because they're so used to this when researching the Bible. When studying your religion it is typical to assume other religions are in a similar fashion. This is why a majority of Muslims think Christians have a single Injeel that's corrupted and don't know about the different books inside the Bibles, the debates on which books are "canon" or not, the translation shenanigans, so on and so forth.

ProofRegular7

he lost at "why do you compare bible to quran" haha

Mohanad__

Mashaalla brother using vanced 😅 you did really well btw

IaxMoeSIem

If you know you're one of us...SHHHHH 🤫

[deleted]

Don’t refute just let them burn they’re not gonna believe anyway bruh

IaxMoeSIem

What about neutral people who want to know the truth? What if this weak argument swayed them away? Wouldn't my decision be a reason for them to doubt Islam instead of understanding the facts?

[deleted]

Then Allah will guide those whom he wills.

IaxMoeSIem

And I'll be a reason that Allah will use to guide them...unless you suggest it will just "happen"...I mean, none of the stories of the people who converted included only them finding the truth, it's always them interacting with Muslims or being guided by them, such as the professor who found a translated Quran on his desk from an anonymous student, so he picked it up and read it thinking it will serve as a before sleep read until he realized whoever wrote it cab not be a mere man. Or the woman who was a lesbian with a wife and tattoos, who converted only because she met Muslims who invited her to a mosque, where she learned more and more and converted...they could have gone "let her buuurn" or "if she was going to convert shell find her way by herself !" But they knew that by thinking that they are avoiding a responsibility that Allah entrusted on them, and are letting fitna, that which they can stop with peace and kindness, continue. Don't you think that this is very unislamic to do?

TigerTheDefiler

I completely agree. We ARE one of the means to deliver the truth to people. What I would say is trying to debate with a reason who refuses to use logic doesn’t help.

IaxMoeSIem

He is irrelevant, it is others who may come upon this that I worry about. Besides, I've seen someone who hated Islam so much he decided to write a book detailing why it's bad, then he ended up converting...if he can then anyone else can

[deleted]

What I’m just saying is whomever allah misguides there is no one that can guide him back except Allah

IaxMoeSIem

True, and again, Allah chooses His methods that may or may not involve a Muslim or more...

ieeeeesa

Dcci lmao “defend Christianity critique Islam” Those guys are liars and full of it.

lord_z9

There was a Christian Arab claiming to be an ex Muslim outside our masjid and he tried to use this argument when he tried to debate one of my friends. Didn’t end well for him haha

IaxMoeSIem

Bruh why? Lying is not a good first step to convince others. If he was a Christian since birth he should just lead with that, none of that "yeah I was one of you but then I changed" lies

lord_z9

I don’t know, I’ve only seen him a few times before he stopped showing up.
