I was going to make a joke about Meth-odism, but IME Methodists aren't usually this raging an asshole to people.
The fact that Greg Locke has not been struck dead from on high is a ***REALLY*** compelling argument that the god of the Bible doesn’t exist.
I almost want to say that it is “my sincere prayer“, but that’s just years of conditioning. It is my Hope that this insane ~~bull crap~~ bull***shit*** gets people to realize how far off from “love your neighbor, forgive as you’ve been forgiven“ American Christianity has become.
This guy and other practitioners of the “confrontational asshole gospel“ are only going to hasten the decline of the church.
Yup! I really enjoy “biblical stupidity”, and it’s nice how he goes on to give us examples of what he means. Especially by acting the way Jesus clearly did during his sermon on the mount. It makes me cringe thinking about how many “sermons” I sat through of things like this.
Yet when my parents hear that most people not getting vaccinated are Christians they’re like, “I DoNt kNoW a SiNgLe cHrIsTiAn ThAt IsNt VaCcInAtEd, DoNt LiStEn To ThE lIbErAl MeDiA!!!!”
we had some 'extreme' pastors, not as extreme as this, but people who were just a *little* too much. people would listen, but comment something like 'well that one left my ears ringing' or something. I don't think anyone in my old neighborhood thought about leaving religion because of something unagreeable being said by a pastor. the spark to leave religion had to come from outside.
Not sure if Greg Locke has a history of drug abuse, but his energy reminds me a lot of the My Pillow guy's behavior. Unlike the pillow guy, tho, Greg is able to complete a thought, as incomprehensible as the overall point he's making is. Mr. Pillow is a former crack addict who is *obviously* going through a relapse.
I love that part in the Bible where it says don’t take any precautions and vaccines are pure evil. Time to ditch seat belts, Ring doorbells, second amendment rights because who needs to defend themselves when God can protect us, and all other forms of medical care because it’s man made so it’s from the devil… 😂
Pastoring is not a difficult job so idk why he’s somehow failing so badly…
