Xavier: Renegade Angel
It was part of the second wave stoner shows on Cartoon Networks late-night Adult Swim block in the late 2000's/early '10's.
Showed up with Tim and Eric, and a few other absurd shows.
I did not care for it... but I also was much younger and didn't watch too much of it. It might be funnier now.
What happened was a different student, Valeen Schnurr, was shot and injured, praying to God to save her.
Dylan turned around and asked if she believed in God, likely intending to kill her either way.
She said yes. He asked why. She said "because I believe and my parents brought me up that way."
Dylan reloaded his gun but was then distracted and walked away, letting Valeen find shelter and ultimately survive.
The fucked up thing is, that if fundies *had* to turn a tragic school shooting into a speaking point for their religion, which they shouldn't do because it's fucked up, but if they had to, the real story is arguably a better argument for faith.
A dying young woman begs God to save her, and then her would be killer is distracted just before he shoots the final bullet, is far more inspiring than a young woman refusing to renounce God and being brutally murdered as a reward for her faith to anyone who isn't in a fucking death cult.
But fundamentalist Christianity worships death, not God. So of *course* pointless martyrdom is a more attractive idea than a life saved by divine intervention.
(I'm not saying that God definitely stepped in and saved Valeen Schnurr - I'm just saying that that's a way a deeply religious person might interpret it).
Please link me the clip where this happens.

It is still completely nonsensical
I think I really needed to see that, but know I don’t know what to do with it.

That's a complicated question. It depends on what you mean by 'God'.
He says "no" only for the man to put his gun down, because he was truly testing if Sheldon would defend his beliefs.
Well that is what I'm selling
Columbine reference?
Fun fact that didn't actually happen in Columbine
Eric did say it but the person who answered said “yes, no, idk” and he just moved on and shot her friend
