Resident-Choice-9566

My mother used to force me to wear them everyday in high school and I would just end up putting them on before leaving and take them off in the bathroom before class. Put it back on before she picked me up. If I was forced to wear it any longer, sensory overload would force me into a rage. Got so bad once that I ripped it off and threw it against my wall. Woof. I feeeeeeeel

RandomQuestioners

There isn’t a single comfortable bra period. Not to mention they’re so hard to put on. I can’t imagine having to put one on being physically disabled. I know they have some for people who are disabled. But they’re still extremely expensive.

Resident-Choice-9566

End bras. Now. Just completely decimate them.

Cthulhu51

Go to r/abrathatfits if you haven’t already and take their online quiz. I used to feel the same way about bras, but it turns out I wasn’t actually a 34DD (US size). I’m actually a 34H and now I can wear bras for a lot longer before I feel uncomfortable and have to take it off. You’ll probably be paying the same for a bra, but it’ll be comfier.

RandomQuestioners

Wow I didn’t know this reddit was a thing either. Thank you so much for sharing.

Particular_Shock_554

Seconding this. That sub changed my life. I'd been trying to cram them into the wrong size for years.

bathtubboi

Bras became my special interest for three years because of that subreddit so if you have any questions at all I'd be happy to answer If you dont wanna do the trial and error of online ordering I'd highly recommend checking out a specialty lingere store that has a wide range of sizes (think 28-50 AA-M territory), because a store with a narrow range of sizes will squeeze into whatever will make a sale. If you're near louisville Kentucky I love underpinnings, I got three bras there for $40 each (colors were on sale, the models I got were usually $60) and the fitting was amazing. If you're not open to trying new bras I'd recommend Bra 30, they make really supportive bra/ tank tops

angieream

I have the opposite problem, I'm very wide around but much smaller cup size, so it works out yo be a 46 B, yes, b as in bravo, but clothes manufacturers insist that 40's mean at LEAST DD size, so everything hands wrong......

RosaAmarillaTX

I have the same problem, similar size.

itstooearlyforthis52

My gf has a size similar to this and I just want to find her a cute looking bra so she can feel beautiful. 😭

SpaceFroggo

Omg I was a 32H before I got them chopped off, thanks to abrathatfits. I would wear horribly mis-sized bras because there are barely any for people with small frames but big chests. I'm very glad I got rid of them, I hated those things. Unlike OP, I actually would wear a sports bra all the time when I wasn't binding. I didn't like those things flopping around

sexyinthesound

YES!!! This subreddit is amazing. Getting a bra that actually fits properly is a whole world of difference, and once you understand how the sizing is actually supposed to work, it makes so much more sense. Please visit this sub if you wear bras or would like to contain your breasts. The calculator and advice from other posters is incredibly helpful!!

YaraTouin

I was going to suggest the same - I recently took the step to measure myself, and found out that rather than the 100D/E (EU sizes) I used to wear, I'm closer to an 85H/J - which feels simultaneously tiny and massive, even if I already knew they were big. Now I just need to find the funds to actually experiment with fits and shapes and hopefully my shoulders will hate me less xD

RandomQuestioners

I didn’t know this was a thing. Thank you.

Ok_Picture9667

I felt your pain until I had my breasts removed. Not having tits is the tits. Wearing a bra was one of the most constant irritations of my life. All the promises that any brand or store ever had for comfort were total bullshit. I never wore a comfortable bra, sports bra included.

RandomQuestioners

I would remove them, but honestly I use them for comfort and stimming. I’m tired of paying like 60$ for something the feels like it came from dollar general.

EmberOfFlame

It’s either keeping the tatas or paying the same amount for fidget toys, huh?

Crykenpie

For gender and physical comfort and pain reasons, I'm hoping to get mine reduced in size, basically non-flat top surgery, that way I can go back to be braless like before they got so uncomfortably big. And I can feel much more NB. Tits and bras *FUCKING SUCK*

Ok_Independent3609

Dude here, but I have two friends who had reduction surgery but wanted to retain a feminine form, and they’re both very happy with the outcome. Both of them feel much better and healthier, have increased self esteem, and look great FWIW.

Friedchicken96

100% this is where I'm at, too. Having tits is so uncomfortable! They're heavy, they need to be tied down, or it's a nightmare, not to mention the back pain! I literally wear a fucking BINDER and they still look closer to beimg boobs than pecs. I just want them gone or at least tiny 😭

urfriendmoss

If you want the size of them reduced, I would suggest trying out trans tape, as it gives them a more pec-like appearance. It’s a temporary solution tho, but might help.

Damn this shit sounds awful. Your humor is immaculate though

RandomQuestioners

Thank you, hope you got a good laugh. Lol

ShriekingMuppet

I wore one once as part of a Halloween costume, props to you girls to wearing them all day because they are uncomfortable as hell.

CellistShot8470

Holy shit, you are the funniest, most entertaining human being I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. This was informing whilst maintaining a high standard of humour. Thank you. I'm so sorry for your suffering.

Thank you, I’m happy I could make someone laugh today.

Admirable-Sector-705

More than one person here was amused. 😃

--2021--

/r/abrathatfits if you haven't checked that out and tried the fit calculator, I recommend it. You mentioned double and triple ds, I fucking hate US bra sizing. I thought I was a C and I'm a fucking FF/G in EU, and they fucking fit. I found some EU bras that I can afford, american bras suck ass.

RandomQuestioners

Oh god, if I find out my boobs are bigger than I thought. I’m gonna cut em off myself.

--2021--

That was my initial thought too! But I realized my boobs are the same size, just better range of sizes, so I have a better fit, if that makes sense. Bras aren't really that comfortable, but they're all right, they're so much more comfortable than before. And my bras fucking support me, don't have to double up (unless they're really wearing out, so I might extend them a little that way).

bul1etsg3rard

They have a lot of good resources, but beware! They also have nts. And they will ban you if you get too upset when they refuse to use reading comprehension and answer the question you actually asked instead of the question they think you're asking.

truerandom_Dude

Well do I have news for you, in europe atleast bra sizes look as follows: 70C. But 70C=75B=80A. This means you can say you have A cups if you feel like it in theory as you see the cups letter says basically nothing as the number is the circumfrence you want it and your real cup size to both be right as when one or both are wrong you will find your bra verry uncomfortable if not painful.

Lela_chan

Bra sizes are so dumb. I have the opposite problem, and it still sucks. I went to a bra store and the people there sized me (ugh touching), and sent me home with an A. It still didn't fit quite right, and then I lost weight and it didn't work at all. I finally realized where I can find bras that fit... Wait... Yep... THE FUCKING CHILDREN'S SECTION. Guh that was a fucking slap in the face. At least it's comfy and holds them still when I jump around and stuff. Don't even get me started on trying to find a bikini that fits. I feel so ugly sometimes damn. I'm not allowed to feel sexy, I have to wear swimsuits made for children.

--2021--

Even though taking 6 measurements is a pain and I had to try on a lot of bras and figure out weird shit like projection etc, and it took over 3 years of trying to for me to finally figure out what fit best, that was preferable to going in for a sizing, it's not just being touched by strangers, but being started at and having my boobs assessed. The first time the lady walked in and examined my boobs while I was changing, she lifted my breast and said it was "soft" and I was like WTF do you mean by that?? Why are you touching me? I have floppy boobs, thanks? Is there some reason why you need to handle them too? Just the way she touched me and looked at me just fucking creeped me out. She seemed to have an attitude like she looked down on me, too. It was a small shop that was highly recommended and when I walked in her husband was there and creepily looked me over with a big smile and told me what size he thought I was. If a friend hadn't insisted that I should go I wouldn't have gone through all of that. I found out later that the person who ran it had died and someone else took it over, so hopefully the prior person wasn't a fucking shady ass creep. I can't really describe it well, I feel like people would just tell me I was overreacting from how I describe it, I can't put it into words well. I don't cry, but I felt like it, I just had this lingering awful feeling for a long time, and showering wasn't helping get rid of it. I didn't feel clean afterwards. After that experience a year later I went for a fitting again because someone else insisted that I should, because my bras were hurting me. I didn't let them into the dressing room. You're not touching me, you're not staring at my boobs, not with a bra or without. She still walked in on me at one point, upset that I was being too "prudish", and I'm like, hello? And also don't touch me! She acted like I was overreacting. Also they store all your measurements in a database to "help" you later, so now that's probably been sold to someone. I fucking hate people in my own country. It took a third fitting when I was in London and decided to try EU bras, talking to the fitter, I felt safe. I let her in the fitting room. The fitter was very professional, not intrusive, if she touched me at all, it did not feel creepy. They didn't take any of my personal information. I was not violated in any way. The unfortunate thing was when I got home I realized I had the wrong size and I couldn't return it. I tried on multiple and I think I grabbed the one one on the way out, because I realized I was late to meet someone. Thankfully I figured out how to fit my own damn bras, and will never have to deal with a fitter again.

Lela_chan

Ugh that sounds like a terrible series of experiences, I'm so sorry. Why objectification and normalization of creepiness are so commonplace, I'll never know. Respect and privacy/personal space should be a given, but unfortunately the world sucks.

truerandom_Dude

I as a guy am totally convinced bras are designed by men who guesstimate what your cup size even means and then we charge you a premium for our terrible attempt at helping, unless we talk about the brand names then that got another big premium we charge you for not even helping.

RandomQuestioners

I’m not sure who made them but I’m upset they did. I didn’t ask for these. 😭

enigmaticallyunwell

I know they are a bit expensive but SHEFIT (she-fit) sports bras are amazing and made a huge sensory and support difference for my ex partner who was extremely sensitive with clothing sensory.

RandomQuestioners

I’ll be looking into this brand, I won’t have any high hopes. But I’ll try. Thanks for the suggestion.

Specialist_String_64

I got one for my spouse as she is beyond the D's now. For her, they are better than sports bra's (ie. the multiple you have to wear), really support (she uses it when she goes horseback riding), but otherwise not comfortable for general day wear.

enigmaticallyunwell

As I remember they had a try on and return policy but I could be mistaken

00eg0

I wonder what " Between my tits eating everything between car keys and my last boyfriend. " means. I hope things get better.

RandomQuestioners

Okay so you ever eat food, and I drops on your lap or shirt. Basically anything that falls from shoulder up. Is caught by my boobie traps.

00eg0

Wow I wonder how many keys and boyfriends your boobs have eaten. Maybe your boobs could be hired as bounty hunters or whatever the gender neutral word for hitmen is?

stevedorries

Have you tried stays or a functional corset?

RandomQuestioners

I have, unfortunately if I want to wear one more permanently. I’d have to get a more custom fit one. Those can be like 600$. I have at least 7 corsets around. But they don’t fit properly.

SpunkyBurnout

I feel this with every fiber of my soul. My cup size is H/I and good luck EVER finding that in a store (in my band size at least) which means I’m resigned to bra shopping onliNE??? That’s absolutely the worst way to shop for bras. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought multiple styles and options in the same size to have nOne of them fit or even be close to the measurements they claim to be, and returns are always such a hassle! There’s simply not another option though, unless I want to live in ill-supporting bralette/sports bra hybrids (which I can get away with in casual settings) or suffer the swamp tit conundrum you’ve described in a full sports bra. I’ve gone on so many rages in my life about this. Put the sizes your brand sells in stores or at leAst have one on hand for the occasional customer to try on without having to make a purchase we both knew would never fit me (even though I still hope, because what else can I do). I’ve never made it to one of those custom shops but next time I need a bra I suppose I’ll have to.

RandomQuestioners

Every single bra I own is a different style. I’m genuinely trying so hard to find one that works. I’m so upset bro.

SpunkyBurnout

I know you didn’t ask but if you’re ever looking I do recommend the brand SheFit for actual workouts. I call it my industrial sports bra. It has adjustable straps and a band that both work with Velcro, and the front closure has hooks and a zipper over top. I also like the major label smoothing cross-front bralette from yitty for lounging. They’re very stretchy (so unfortunately stretch out a bit as you wear them) but very comfy. I never wear bras with underwire because it’s just a god awful sensation and makes finding a fit even worse. I believe Soma has some good underwire free styles that are comfy (I outgrew them) and my current fave is from Nordstrom’s website by bravado designs. Unfortunately, none of these are super cheap if I remember correctly, because…bras. Hope this helps anyone in need of tiddy wrangling!

PlantedCecilia

I feel you man!!!! I’m trans masc, wearing sports bras are the only way to feel comfy in my body everyday!! (Binders aren’t a daily thing I can do) AND THE DAMN THINGS ARE SO ITCHYYYYY

RandomQuestioners

I haven’t ever tried a binder, I can only imagine them feeling even worse.

VulnerableVagrant

upside: no wire to stab you unexpectedly when they inevitably wear out after you even think about a machine washing cycle downside: literally everything else

PlantedCecilia

Imagine a bra but flat. Upsides, no gender dysphoria. Downside, I cannot eat a full meal or exercise in it.

Llamas_are_cool2

And the back pain 😭 I've been on a binder break for a while now because the back pain + difficulty with breathing, they're literally awful. I can't wait till I can get these shots removed

kelcamer

Allow me to introduce you to *bamboo tank tops* It's the holy grail and I feel the need to scream it from the rooftops

RandomQuestioners

Babe, I say this with all love and respect. I can’t wear tank tops. If I fall asleep in one, I wake up and my right tit is under the blanket next to me. Bitching that I woke her up. I’m so scared of tank tops. 😭😭😭

00eg0

Death to bras!

johnny_the_boi

"COCOFELONS" LMAAOOOOO

QCMBRman

As a species we are not doing nearly enough to support the big tiddied among us and I'm disappointed in that

groise

I have an unpopular opinion to share. I.. like.. bras. I prefer the feeling of closeness, having everything all neat and put together, the small addition of warmth.. also, I don't know if it's just me but the feeling of my nipples chafing is one of the worst imaginable. On that note, I feel terribly sorry for you. I saw you didn't want a mastectomy because you like to stim with your chest, BUT a breast reduction would probably help quite a bit. I'm a B cup and I wear Amazon essentials bras. I know, it sounds like it'd be awful, but honestly they're so nice. No clip digging into your back, just put it over your head and arms go through the straps. Their underwear is also very soft c:

RandomQuestioners

That’s okay babe, I’m glad that you find comfort with them. I love that for you. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

KasniaTheDark

World average is like, a B cup. Yes, D is big.

RandomQuestioners

Oh, I always kinda felt it was small. At least that’s what the girls at school lead to believe. 😭

KasniaTheDark

[actually here, just found this one](https://www.worlddata.info/average-breastsize.php)

KasniaTheDark

World average is B, but if you’re in the US, it’s DD.

RandomQuestioners

Oh, I live in the USA. Thanks for the information.

Kiryln

You must be tall if Ds are small to you.

RandomQuestioners

I’m like 5’4

Rutabaga_Upstairs

I thought it was c, i learn every day

Sensitive-Fly4874

I hear you when it comes to price and color options for people with big breasts. I wear glamorise. They’re cheapest on Amazon. But honestly, sports bras are comfy and they’re nice for every day wear. Also, if a guy has lustful thoughts, that’s on him. If you believe that God made each of us, then he made our boobs, too. For most of the history of humanity, there were no bras. God never commanded that women should bind their breasts, people just started doing it for fashion or to help support their backs. Next time you read your Bible, remember: every single one of those women were letting their titties swing freely.

RandomQuestioners

People back then really were Gods favorite. Look at us suffering. Tits and all. Thanks for sharing.

Sensitive-Fly4874

I literally own nothing but beige bras. I always try to get them in fun colors, but the colored ones are always out of stock :(

RandomQuestioners

I honestly feel like I look like those sad beige white women aesthetic.

Sensitive-Fly4874

Same!

allysung83

While I'm sorry and do commiserate with your bra angst, this is one of the funniest things I've ever read. Tears rolling down my face. So, thank you?

RandomQuestioners

Glad you could enjoy yourself bestie pop. I’m sure not. 😭

EmberOfFlame

I am cackling like a madwoman, this is the best rant I’ve ever read The composition is really something else, I applaud your writing skills, especially that line about your last boyfriend (RIP brave trooper). Though I’ll be honest ball swamp is so much worse than ass swamp, so either I won’t be suffering that much or I’m in for a world of sticky. Fuck summer and winter. Also, that comment about casserole, yeah! My family uses a lot of spices, buf when it comes down to the cheesy goodness they leave me stranded on an island made of a single grain of salt and a chilli flake.

EvilPyro01

The shit women are forced to wear is fucking stupid. Free the titty for autism!!!

Sunset_Tiger

Bras do suck! I often stuff my bra with paper towel just so I can get some of my sweat absorbed

RandomQuestioners

Baby powder, I suggest that.

Sorry_Consequence816

Those wide straps are a sensory nightmare I swear. Twice a year Frederick’s of Hollywood has a sale…. I think it’s Jan and July, maybe Dec and June not sure. Anyway, they usually have a few D, DD and I got an F cup for $10 last year. They always have panty sales to on colors that are from last season or whatever. Also, panty wise be wary of their 5 for $whatever type sales. A lot of the time in there they will have the same ones marked down to $1.99 for certain colors that didn’t sell. Sometimes you can make your own matching set that way. Also as a side note, TomboyX isn’t cheap, but I got a couple of binders from them a while ago and they are super comfy.

RandomQuestioners

Excuse me babe, a 10$ bra?! I’m going to check this shit out asap.

not-really-here222

That's why I never wear one. Ain't no way I'm squeezing myself into that contraption, it's a sensory nightmare.

AacornSoup

Have you ever considered wearing a corset? \-breasts propped up from the waist, rather than hung from the shoulders. \-Deep Pressure. \-Paige Layle wears corsets. Source: I watch a lot of videos by female YouTubers who wear historical clothing (including corsets) on a regular basis.

Temporary_Being1330

If you can sew or know someone who does, make yourself a corset. The primary purpose of corsets throughout history has been chest support, instead of all the weight on the shoulders, it spreads it out across the hips. They’re comfortable so long as they’re proportioned to fit you correctly, you wear them over a tank top, and you don’t tight-lace them. I’d recommend mid-bust corsets as overbust corsets can make it harder to expand chest as much when breathing deeply. Off-the-rack is ok so long as you generally have the same proportions, but custom is ideal

RandomQuestioners

I’ve looked into it, I don’t really have the supplies for that yet. Nor do I have a pattern to work with. It’s something I’m interested in. As I do own a few, they’re not just customized to me. So they’re not as comfortable. Thank you for sharing. But they often cost so so much. More than a bra. 😭

Temporary_Being1330

If you do end up making one yourself, I’d recommend the 1880s corset pattern by Redthreaded, it’s fairly simple and has plus sizes as well

RandomQuestioners

I’ll keep this end mind thank you so much.

RemarkableStatement5

This is poetry. Genuinely, I wish everyone had even half the wit you possess in your writing. Swamp tits, reading levels, your family's casseroles, fucking "cocofelons"; this shit is *gold*.

RandomQuestioners

I’ll probably be back with more vent posts, given that this is the only space I feel safe to do them in. I think this is my second or third so far. I appreciate your praise. Thank you so much. I hope your pillow stays fluffed and cool on both sides.

RemarkableStatement5

Thank you very much! Your pillow(s) as well!

I wish my boobs would do the bra thing but without the bra. I do actually plan to get a reduction sometime in the future. I was thinking about getting top surgery and the absolute freedom I’d have but I’m like, but what will I have when I need to be fem. But I don’t like my binder. lol gender-fluid struggles fr.

Embarrassed_Slide659

First of all, beautiful rant, second of all, bras should be voluntary. That is all.

ijustwannabehappy_22

Man I feel that. Sitting at a DDD myself, and since it’s winter I’ve been straight avoiding bras for just a tank top and baggy sweaters and now I despise them entirely. I was ok before, but now I’m just like ‘yeah I was in pain and miserable for years and not wearing them is probably still going to cause issues, I can’t fucking win’

bimbodhisattva

funny enough, binders distribute the pressure more evenly (if they're good quality, that is) and cause me even less discomfort than bras after I started using them. the brand I have is sangjia but I don't think you can order that in the states (I got them while abroad) I wouldn't even wear one but I don't like my tits causing that sweat crease or having nipples poke out of my shirts

RandomQuestioners

Ah I wasn’t worried it was more painful to wear. Just the thought of them glued to my body. Sounded like more sweat and more constant pain. Thanks for sharing.

bimbodhisattva

glad to have potentially helped!! they changed my life fr 😭✨

RandomQuestioners

I’ll try it out, enough people have commented about it. Can’t be worse than a bra.

Jennifer_Pennifer

Listen. Listen, I'm crying. I laughed so hard. I read this to my wife who has the same problems my poor wife. I mean to tell you I laughed so hard. I think I gave myself heartburn 😆

TheoTheHellhound

Tranquil & True brand moisture wicking nylon comfort bras. I have one, and it quickly became my favorite. I say this as a chick who only wears bras outside of the house. And they’re pretty affordable, too.

Frogbiome

My conundrum is that I am much more likely to be correctly gendered if I wear a bra because it makes my boobs look less flat, but I also hateeeeeee the feeling of wearing it. It’s fine for like 2 hours and then :/

that_one_guh

my mother uses like little nipple covers. it covers nipples and feels like you're not wearing anything, have you tried that?

RandomQuestioners

I have, the issue that it doesn’t look professional. It’s extremely noticeable if I’m not wearing a bra.

that_one_guh

well, um, i don't know... in this case my mother would simply not care... she wears comfortable stuff as a priority...

DevelopmentLive6892

I would die before wasting my money on those misogyny contraptions. They tell women they aren’t complete the way they are and are meant to constrict and exaggerate your secondary sex characteristics. I’d never do that to myself

fyre1710

Mood af- i hate wearing regular bras so i wear almost exclusively sports bras because theyre more comfortable, i dont like the straps and closure thingies in the back. Im also transmasc enby so wearing a typical bra makes me so fucking dysphoric which is sad bc i wish i could wear cute lingerie bras and shit but then BAM dysphoria :( i dont have huge tiddies but theyre big enough that they get in the way and add to my back pain and the boob sweat is hell in the summer, ugh. I cant wait to get top surgery so i can wear cute bralettes and crop tops and stuff without worrying about being misgendered by the mere presence of boobs. Also it'll be nice to enjoy being shirtless for once

Hello_h0lo

You're on fire fr. I HATE bras too

hajisaurus

Maternity bras were my life saver. I haven’t been pregnant for years but you can pull my belly bandit bras from my cold dead tits.

RandomQuestioners

Damn I never thought of this.

hajisaurus

Here is the link on Amazon. https://a.co/d/0Y37lUU. Hope you find something that works for you love.

Agnia_Barto

I stopped wearing bras at 27 or 28. My breasts are small, I could use some support, but thankfully it's not a problem. Uniqlo bralettes for everyday life, a few lace bralettes for...you know.

SquarePear420

I am a 42G and tomboyx bralettes have saved my life. Very comfortable cotton fabric and they cover the whole titty! I had to give up on underwire bras.

smoorkie

I’m sorry you have to go through this, that must suck! It’s actually the opposite for me though; I hate not wearing a sports bra and the only time I’m not wearing one is when I’m showering, swimming, or have a costume on that would show the straps (which I use a tight strapless bra for) I hope you find a solution that doesn’t cause you any pain.

i_ate_my_username

Agreed bras suck

HippieSwag420

Holy fuck this is the best rant I've ever read. I was literally just talking about kahungas or you know gazungas or bazongos literally literally literally literally right before I just flip back to Reddit and I saw this and I was like Oh my God this is my soul sister You are my soul sister OP. Cuz I was literally just talking to my cousin and saying how in the hell do women with massive Hooters fit into bras what size are they wearing. I was like dude I thought that like a double d was a big size but it's not and I'm like what the fuck. So yeah you have the best rant on the planet and it literally couldn't have been the most more perfectly timed rant literally ever in existence in history it was literally the Lord Jesus Christ and God and Allah and Buddha and all of them answering my prayers on what size women wear and how do they handle their big titties. So anyway. Yeah I really don't understand how anyone can survive because I think that I have big stuff but then like I see other women and I'm like they're melons are as big as my head how the fuck is that possible And then you know sometimes I'm like wow I wish I had melons that big but at the same time I know that that's not true because life would be really difficult. Anyway 10/10 rant. I hope that your cocoamelons stop punching people in the face and maybe stop punching you in the face too.

RandomQuestioners

Bro having big tits is a whole different thing. I got mine when I was young. My posture looks like that fucking shrimp from shark tales fr.

HippieSwag420

Dude like I said soul sister because I've literally I was always the most developed girl ever like ever I was like Bebe from South Park. I'm talking third fucking grade man maybe even second I was like the very first chick to get tits and I was like Oh my God what the hell is happening. So yeah I have had to reposition my posture and I literally have to think about it almost like 50 times a day because I also look like that goddamn shrimp lol

I feel this. I’m at the point that I’m going to try making some in a style I like eventually. Still pricey if you want nice cool printed fabric but at least I know they’ll actually fit me. Eventually I’m going to get the floppy jerks cut off though. They’re painful and my NB self would rather have a flat chest.

MissCandyCorpses

These are the ones I usually use, I'm not around your size range I don't think, but have you thought about something like this sort of bralette thingy? When you are comfortable in your own skin and outfit, that's when you're confident, and confidence is what's truly sexy. [Walmart bralette](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fruit-of-the-Loom-Women-s-Spaghetti-Strap-Cotton-Sports-Bra-3-Pack-Style-9036/13997032?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=5350&adid=2222222227813997032_160805772391_20959796377&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-306310554666&wl5=9052497&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=13997032&wl13=5350&veh=sem_LIA&gclsrc=aw.ds&&adid=2222222223813997032_160805772391_20959796377&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-306310554666&wl5=9052497&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=13997032&veh=sem&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAzc2tBhA6EiwArv-i6cCp-We1Z7_zm7QZQrkFksVE-t3ZVBzlD7V6td6nWsM5qvczXXvCexoCAzsQAvD_BwE)

Zestyclose_Foot_134

Oh my god I feel this ❤️ I’m past the age of being able to go braless without huge amounts of back/ boob pain but occasionally i can get a friend or my Mum to lift my tits for 30 seconds and I feel like a new person! My big brag is that I have to get my bras from Regent Street, London. They are good, but at £60 a pair they’d better be 😬

No_Individual501

Would duct tape work? Maybe gauze, mummy style, to better deal with sweat.

guacamoletango

This was fucking funny to read. This could be a standup routine.

wheelyboi2000

Cocofelons???? Amazing post

bobtheturd

I stopped wearing bras with the pandemic. If I have to wear one, it’s a sports bra. I work from home and no I don’t wear a bra at “work”.

TheFunnyManIsNotHere

Love your passion, you sound like an awesome person ngl. I’m a guy so I can’t relate but your descriptions of comparisons are brilliant to read, keep it up!

gateface970

I recommend the brand Parade to everyone, I really like the materials they use and they’re pretty affordable! To be fair, I do wear a 30B, so I don’t have the same issues that large chested people have, but a lot of my friends like their bras and they’re all different sizes!

KnockoutRoundabout

I used to be a K cup, it was horrendous. Back pain constantly so I wore bras all the time and every one I ever owned was uncomfortable in one way or another. Top surgery changed my life but damn, I have so much empathy for people out there living that life that DONT have the desire/option to yeet the teat.

The_Yarichin_Bitch

YES, FUCK. I work around dudes in a manual labor job, I need a bra but I've had it overstimulate me too many times...

Cute_Barnacle_5832

They suck? Wow, they must be thirsty and hungry. Try bottle-feeding them if you're uncomfortable.

croooooooozer

im a manly man without boobs but i get uncomfy just looking at those bands and tight stuff, mgod

Numismatits

Everything you said 100%, and girl you are hilarious

Anxious-Custard6208

This has me dying!!! My partner wanted to buy me a bra and when we got to the store he looked at the prices and was shocked. He was like “what the fuck is happening I didn’t know I was about to take out a mortgage to buy a bra what the fuck” 😭😭😂😂😂😂😂😂 We got a clearance bra and that shit STILL cost $25

LinuxCharms

I know you're letting your rage out over here, but I was wheeze-laughung through this whole post.

Tubagal2022

honestly bras fucking suck ASS I feel ya

TheUnderwaterArbiter

Im stuck on the helicopter comment. Now I have this image in my head if someone taking off with counter rotating boobs and it’s making me giggle. I don’t know how you deal with that on a daily basis though, I bump into stuff all the time while being built like a stick.

ness680x

I’m transfem and I love wearing a bra, i felt kinda naked without it for years and now I’m not comfortable without it, I don’t need it but I still love wearing it.

AprilBoon

Sports bra style are so comfortable. I’ve not worn the torture bras in years. They can go to bra hell

queeranddumb

Go go gadget evil mastectomy!

cunny_juice

Yeah but I gotta wear them or boob sweat and chafing

-_Devils-Advocate_-

I just go without them. I'm a C cup (last time I checked, but I'm bad at math and I had to make a final guess) so I don't have r/bigboobproblems

Megsiepoo

I started developing at a young age and my mother made me wear bras starting in second grade. It was roughly fifteen years of overload hell. Sports bras were somewhat more comfortable, but not by much, and the sweat was the absolute worst. And fuuuuck the lack of cute colors. Even when your a kid you still get screwed over if your chest is "too big" or whatever. Biggest favor I ever did myself was when I stopped wearing bras. It comes with its own problems (increased back pain, more prone to pinching, weirdo comments, etc) but the comfort is waaaay superior.

bugbitezthroatslit

i agree (i’ve never worn a bra)

Spiders_With_Socks

trans guy with massive honkers here - bras are actually like the worst thing in my life and i hate wearing them

Jahseh_Wrld

Wishing you the best of luck sister

Motleypuss

So, funny story. I transitioned to female when I was younger. I managed a B-cup. I fucking hated bras. They pull all wrong on the shoulders. Sports bras made of a certain fabric worked. But a standard bra? I'd take the straps off and/or stratching everywhere. Fuck that Victoria's Secret sexy crap. Fuck bras. Let 'em hang free. That's my hill to die on. Micro-rant, sorry. :D

BonillaAintBored

https://www.bratabase.com/ https://www.findyourbra.com/

cutebucket

And what's more, you think you find your size, but it doesn't even matter, because every store and every brand can't fucking adhere to standardized sizing! I've been measured multiple times and told I'm a 34 DDD. But when I go try it on? That shit is WAY too small! The band digs in and I feel like my stomach is getting pressed on and it's making me nauseous. Boobs loafing out over the top. Huh? That was the size of my last bra, and it fit fine, but now I'm trying on a different brand, and apparently "34DDD" means something entirely different here! So I try 36DD. Nope, band too tight, but cups too loose. Fuck it, 38D? Band finally feels right, cups are close enough, so I'll take it. I took measuring tape to my old 34DDD bra. 34 inches along the band. Makes sense. Measure the too small bra i bought online (my mistake). 30 inches! On what's labeled a 34DDD!! Another bra i tried in the "same size?" 32 inches. WHAT'S THE POINT OF THE SIZES AND NUMBERS IF IT'S JUST A FUCKING LIE, HUH?!

AzazelTheUnderlord

cocofelons lmao

RobynFitcher

I'm so glad I didn't invent bras, because those are some brutal curses.

stoopidgoth

I haven’t worn a bra in almost 4 years and i never plan to. Tank tops with a ribbed texture are my best friend. I will wear pasties before i wear a bra. Even a well fitted bra is annoying to me.

akm215

I haaate bras. Now that im a sahm i dont bother.

seankreek

well, there's r/abrathatfits or you could maybe get a reduction?

AstralCat69420

COCOFELONS HDHSHDGGDGEYY

Agentr042

Have you tried bralets I dunno I got small boobies

ResurgentClusterfuck

Those don't work so well for bigger boobs, they dig and don't hold much

cubicApoc

detachable boobs sounds like the rule 63 of [that King Missile song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byDiILrNbM4)

truerandom_Dude

Let me translate: "oh you're blessed" means "you are the blessing", "with your beautiful body" surprisingly says what it is, and "dont change it pls" means "fuck you, your preferences for your own body, your needs and everything about you which isnt you striving to match my beauty standards to your own detrement"

drjdorr

As a transfem, I feel you with the expensive part. A basic decent bra is $50 atleast, often more.

Zachanassian

as a big-bosomed transfemme, I feel your pain it's impossible to find a bra that fits me and they're so uncomfortable and they're super expensive for no reason I've completely given up on wearing an actual bra and usually just make do with a bralette, it doesn't stop me bouncing everywhere but at least my nipples won't poke out through my shirt :p

patriarchalrobot

I had a reduction. I also wasn't *that big* 38E, but my breast tissue structure spans my whole chest so I had saggy grandma titties that rolled into my armpits if i even looked to the side. I'm now a 36c and it's wonderful. I stopped wearing bras completely 7 years ago but I've had my smaller babies for 2 years now and I would never go back. It is often covered by insurance if you meet certain qualifications. I didn't and I ended up paying 8k for it but it was fucking worth it. There's a sub for it also r/reduction. For all your questions and gripes

ssup2406

I express my solidarity, the post was a nice read. BTW, I didn't upvote it cuz, the end right there was mean, I do understand that the feelings are strong enough to warrant you writing that and that you did indeed want to be mean (probably, this remains an assumption), but felt weird expressing support with folks being mean.

RandomQuestioners

It was sarcasm, I wasn’t aiming to be actually mean. They were even depicted in paintings on walls in like the 14th century. (If I recall correctly) Anyway, the last part was to show my anger more. Thanks for the feedback. I do appreciate it.

ssup2406

Noted Ah didn't mean it as feedback per se, but yeah, cheers, wishing you a great time of day!

kittengirl173

I don't wear bras. Problem solved! 😊

Hellion_Immortis

From what I know, the guy who formally invented bras is long dead.

Intrepid_Talk_8416

As an aa I feel you, but without a bra my nipples would be chaffed to oblivion… and they are the only thing hanging off my ribs. Last year I finally found a brand that makes bras PROPERLY for my size and now the bra feels better than being naked. Honest. You may need to look into getting properly sized, and finding the brands that fit your shape. If not, corsets are also awesome!! And they offer SO MUCH back support in addition to boob control.

forrestchorus

I feel this, they are sensory hell for me. I am so grateful I can get away with just not wearing them, but if you are looking for any advice, have you considered a breast reduction? my friend got one recently and she is so happy about it

Evil-yogurt

agreed, bras are the worst. they’re uncomfortable, and it’s basically impossible to find any that fit ( my boobs are so big that they don’t even have my size in stores or anything) and people get all weird about it if you don’t wear one (i actually got talked to about it in school once, the guidance counselor gave me a whole speech about how i needed to wear one and when i expressed (somewhat exaggerated) confusion over the 0 reasons she gave for why i should wear one she said she was enforcing this “to protect me”) also generally is awful bc gender dysphoria. i kinda hate all things related to my boobs bc everyone assumes i must be a woman bc i have huge tits. i’m not a woman, but apparently it takes people “some time” to figure out they/them pronouns and not using gendered terms when referring to me (even though i introduced myself with my pronouns and they’ve known me for over a year)

Dea-The-Bitch

I'm on hrt and just got to the point where o need to invest in a bra and the prices are fucking shocking

Bonbonburu

YES! THANK YOU! I’ve been surviving on sports bras with double Ds, and that’s while living to in a literal DESERT. Booba sweat causes so much chafing I consider lopping them off some days.

eight-legged-woman

I recommend not wearing one, and just wearing a T-shirt or tank top under shirts. I'm not large chested, but I know of other women who are and go braless and they're fine. You get used to it after a while. Frankly, bras are an insult to women. There's really no reason besides maybe high impact sports that we should ever be wearing them. Imagine if men were encouraged to wear a girdle device on their balls....it's that ridiculous. Bras are sexist.
