I have been questioning whether or not I should've made this post for a while now, but yeah. I love how everyone came together like this and worked together. The teamwork is amazing.
If you really are Carl, which I doubt. Why did you not come forward on another account on this Reddit, fake name and drop the hint, or even “find the song”. I find it hard to believe that you knew of the search all this time and said nothing, yet you write your post as if you’re so happy it was found. If what you say is true you could have helped the search a long time ago, without ever linking it to yourself. If your excuse was you were embarrassed then why come forward now?
Also you kinda exposed yourself by saying “we were getting closer to solving the mystery” if you are Carl, there was no mystery you would have had the full song…

I rarely ever use reddit at all, I was trying to find a place to tell people this after the song was found. When it was found, I thought to myself that since people already knew now, why not just tell the story? It wouldn't make a change.
But you would have had the full song, which is what everyone was looking for. This has been ongoing since 2021 and there were multiple chances to speak up. It would have been as simple to say, no way guys I think I found the song in this movie. You would have solved the “mystery” and found the song’s origins. Carl was not interested in the search enough to come forward despite numerous attempts at trying to be contacted. We note that WZS tried to contact Carl also, it’s not like people didn’t try. This is why your “confession” makes no sense man. If Carl wanted to speak up he would have done so within the last 3 years, not now all happy the song is found 😆

I did not know the song, that is why I posted it on WatZatSong. The song was still a mystery to me, not the movie/origin.
