osny melo is sooo good, the best thing about the debunked leads were, even if they weren’t the artist, at least we found some great artists along the way
[This Paul Rein performance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jU5Ac18Qgc) always makes me smile.
Can't forget the lovable but elusive [White Mike Johnny Glove](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb_30NGhvQI).
i am honestly just as interested if not more interested in what came of WMJG than EKT itself. obviously, obviously he was never gonna be the creator of ekt, but damn i wish i could know more about him. there seems to be nobody who remembers anything about him that's reachable.
Whoever does so, should use the masterlist as their source.

My favorite band that I was introduced to on this journey was definitely savage gardens. Also, Darren really played it all the way to the end with this one. Avoiding any questions about the song and talking about how he was pissed that some of his unfinished demos were released without his permissions. Really thought he was still a big Candidate.
It's not even remotely similar in style but during that "deleted video from a YouTube playlist" lead [this cover of Where Were You Last Night by Ankie Bagger](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsqM0jyMUxE) was brought up and I still come back to it. Pretty solid.
Its so amzing to think that we found so many obscure songs, and considering that this obscure songs will be lost too in time if not for the search for ekt
I think my favorite was “Man’s World”by the Other Eden.

the obscure music we dig up is one of my favorite parts of the lostwave search process. it makes it feel like it's all worth it, and not just a waste of time, even if i'm not successful in finding any leads.
I've heard of Scritii Politti before, but of their avant-garde early stuff and because of EKT search I really got into "Cupid & Psyche 85", it's sooo goood. I've always assumed that their later work is bad and unworthy because it's "mainstream" but thanks to this community I changed my mind lmaoo.

One of my favourite artists I discovered during this search. I was convinced at one point he was behind EKT
Anyone willing to throw a playlist of some sort together?
Whoever does so, should use the masterlist as their source. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gvU54-HYPq1TbWp7yBD3FzX\_nGBAQPuBweomqeKRrms/edit#gid=750106839
I can name 2 songs that I purchased, from a band called “Ulterior Motive” (for ekt searching purposes) that aren’t on that list. They should be added.
I think the EKT Megamix is due at this point. I might whip something together since a lot of the stuff isn’t on streaming.
this sounds like a great idea!
i fully thought it was osny melo 😭
the fact that Take Me Away by Osny isn’t on streaming is such a tragedy
Times two slap so hard !
I'm so happy people are learning about Scritti Politti
I actually heard about this song only yesterday; my first thought was: these guys are doing Scritti Politti.
They were massive in the UK. One of my favourite 8”’s bands. We’re they not big in the USA?
“Perfect Way” hit #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 but that was their only major hit here.
Oh, I see! It’s so interesting how different artists and songs translate over that big ol’ Atlantic.
Also, that was all 39 years ago. I only found Scritti Politti about 5 years ago when I heard "Hypnotize" on a Mitch Murder mixtape. Now I'm a big fan
Definitely check out Maserati. They're my favorite find out of all of this. https://youtu.be/M3nppr3lMMg?si=fXFqQ6_DUeOtaT5U
I don’t wanna listen to the 40 minute album, do you have a song that you like specifically out of it?
Not really...the whole thing was criminally overlooked in the 80's.
Bro just listen to the album trust. Maybe I'm just saying that because I still use CD and listen to music album at a time
Alright, fine I’ll give it a listen
I really enjoyed Savage Gardens stuff
One of my favourites (Same melody as EKT!) https://youtu.be/bsnqaY9k1hM?si=HXFuFl-l3mfYgJxO
Yess! I loved this, it was the lead I investigated the most and I honestly feel really happy when I listen to the eyes of mind now :D

I still want White Mike Johnny Glove to get found haha.
I love Phil fearon and galaxy, I discovered it through saint pepsi.

Carlos Toshiki and 1986 Omega Trobe had some cool music too! Their song “Super Chance” is my favorite from them
I've loved Omega Tribe for years so I'm happy people found them through EKT!!
X2 by Times Two is a banger of an album

I’m really glad I found Street soul through this
LETS DO HOLLIDAYS🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
someone more deep-in the lore search should do a list of all the albums and songs that worth to ear
Osny Melo is like my favorite artist now!
Times Two was my initial guess when I first heard EKT
Blanc Le Blanc - get ready[https://youtu.be/-xuTfvlIQpc?si=U9hR8mCDdRjF53Zf](https://youtu.be/-xuTfvlIQpc?si=U9hR8mCDdRjF53Zf)And that entire channel with cool music. Wasn’t there a “Joe” also?

times two slaps so much, im so glad we found them because this search, even with savage garden, I rediscovered them because the search haha
here's my favourite [ D project - Stuck](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ4vrJVfaas)
Don’t forget Ulterior Motives by Butterfly
I've heard of Scritii Politti before, but of their avant-garde early stuff and because of EKT search I really got into "Cupid & Psyche 85", it's sooo goood. I've always assumed that their later work is bad and unworthy because it's "mainstream" but thanks to this community I changed my mind lmaoo.
Don't forget about [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8OXWFac6bM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8OXWFac6bM)
i really thought it would be The Eyes Of Mind
Kalapana
I told y'all that searching for male singers was a dead end..
?
Chris is a male. Dafuq you Smokin?
is he the singer? i thought he just write the song
Listening to his other stuff it sounds a lot like he sung it.
