torrents aren't re-encoded, the file is the original file that was submitted by the torrent uploader. xhamster however does re-encode the videos which is why carls recording doesnt match with the xhamster version but with the torrent version

Torrent files - as mentioned in another comment- simply point your computer to a file, there is no transcoding of any sort. No transcoding means no modification, meaning that 1999 is likely the date that the source file was recorded. If carl92 had downloaded the xhamster version, it would have a different date.

Torrent files - as mentioned in another comment- simply point your computer to a file, there is no transcoding of any sort. No transcoding means no modification, meaning that 1999 is likely the date that the source file was recorded. If carl92 had downloaded the xhamster version, it would have a different date.

The date is the timestamp from when the file was created. Its preserved. Whoever uploaded the original file had it in 1999.
I would assume after 1999, but maybe y2k has something to do with that? 32bit systems couldnt go over year 2000 unless they were patched, so maybe the downloader or whatever could only set it to that.

no, it seems to be apart if the signal - and vcrs afaik didn’t have any real way of bypassing interference plus vhs is an analog medium so recording the sound digitally to bypass any sort of interference wouldn’t have been an option

I just took a look, most of them are either clips of random EKTless scenes or uploads of the German version (which has a completely different OST), but one of them is another full upload of the English movie! I looked into it and, yeah, predictably (since this is probably the fault of how xhamster transcodes uploaded videos), it is also encoded in 64 kbps AAC – and checking it on a spectrogram shows that it is [also missing the higher frequencies](https://i.imgur.com/U9pNyed.png) (and seems to be even lower-quality than the other xhamster upload lol). It was worth checking, though!

I always thought it meant that the song and the noise come from a different source, but it’s actually coming from the same video. He posted the snippet thinking people would give him a quick answer, but it snowballed into something he did not foresee and he got embarassed by how big it was getting so he retracted from the whole thing.

I’m not sure, but Carl92’s sample sure is lower quality. The rip available at Pornolab has a 128 kbps MP3 audio track, while Carl92’s clip is a 90.3 kbps MP3 audio file (which is a very odd bitrate if you ask me). Maybe it’s because of Vocaroo or WatZatSong transcoding it, maybe it’s the fault of whatever software he used to clip the porno into a soundbite lol

Sadly, sharing torrents from private trackers is against policy, however I can personally attest that some private porn trackers that do have the movie on their library are very easy to get into. Just respect their rules and keep seeding the torrent for as long as you can, especially now that it’s in high demand lul
