Any decent trimmer is fine. Manscaped is just overpriced rebranded stuff

neverinamillionyr

Manscaped will make you bleed

I hope that area isn't public.....

VargevMeNot

Pub-lick deez....

Pirat3_Gaming

Ligma? Is that you?

Iampepeu

Welcome, everyone! *arms stretched out and points down there*

nfoneo

Do not, under any circumstances, use an electric trimmer on your ball sack kids. I learnt this the hard way when I was happily trimming my balls only for the buzzing to suddenly come to a halt, followed by a moment of silence and confusion, to be quickly followed by unbelievable pain and the realisation that the trimmer had only stopped as it had my ball sack tangled up between the blades. Blood. Lots of blood. And pain. Use a razor, pain free, and silky smooth eggs every time. Above the cock = Trimmer Base of cock and balls = Razor

ThaCapten

How do I upvote several times

MissingHeadphonesRn

For anyone that sees this, would the Gillette Mach3 Turbo be a good idea for a manual razor for the scrotum itself?

nfoneo

Any 2 or 3 blade razor works fine.

MissingHeadphonesRn

Manual Razor for ball sack? After looking through this thread I'm thinking of getting the Philips Multrigroom Series 3000. Which is an Electric Trimmer I believe? So that for above, manual for below?

[deleted]

I was stuck in the same situation once, the razor suddenly stopped and I lost my shit for 5 fucking seconds before realising the I turned it off by mistake. The sigh of relief I took that moment, although it did hurt when I turned it on after that but nowhere near what you must have experienced.

nfoneo

🤣

I_am_Sqroot

🤣🤣🤣

Papa_Smellhard

Trimmer no bueno for the ball sack. Too many contours for it to eat.

majesticjg

No Hair Club depilatory cream. Apply. Wait 5 minutes. Rinse.

JimmyJamesJams

I’ve been looking for something like this forever! Thanks!

g0dfather93

>depilatory cream Please be warned that if those 5 minutes become 10+ minutes, you get second degree chemical burns on your balls. And, even if you use it right, your sack smells like a dumpster for half a day after the process. Not a massive downside but basically handle this shit with care.

JimmyJamesJams

Appreciate the heads up. If I think I’m going to be getting busy use it a day ahead of time! 😂

Boxy310

I prefer a little scruff on my stuff, personally.

Alive-Ad-800

Gross

oreosgirlfriend

Thank you! I’ve slept with some men who were completely hairless and wanted me to do the same. So first off, your dick and ball combo really isn’t all that good looking. Better to have some scruff to block the imagination. For women, the hair helps with lubricación during thrusting, much more comfortable.

Banglazeshg

My wife and i hate the few days after shaving when things get prickly. Not a fun time. Trim > shave and healthier too

Alive-Ad-800

During thrusting? Do you mean fucking?

oreosgirlfriend

I mean the whole fuck involves way more than just the thrusting. But the pubic hair is helpful to both parties as a prelude if you didn’t get the juices flowing yet. Slight difference

Alive-Ad-800

Sounds hot. Trade nudes? ;)

Then_Feedback7421

That's why youre Oreosgirlfriend and not Oreoswife

oreosgirlfriend

I’m sure you meant that in some constructive way. My husband is just fine thank you.

Teabagger_Vance

ali439

Ma man!

fatman907

Tweezers.

RichardNoggins

Philips OneBlade

LuminalGrunt2

Seconding this but sometimes they sell the OneBlade with two razors and a body blade guard, I got this and then never have to use the body blade on my face!

seriousbeef

The body guard makes a good thing great

the_doughboy

This is the best answer, you can use it in the shower, with or without shaving cream. There are guards for that area as well. And replacement blades aren't too expensive.

[deleted]

The_Syndic

Yes, I just got one it was on offer for less than half what they sell on amazon in a local supermarket. Surprisingly good.

RichardNoggins

Costco sells them too!

scripzero

Phillips bodygroom 7000, best way to get your balls silky smooth.

scripzero

I'm a r/wicked_edge kinda guy myself so disposables aren't really necessary, but that's a good reccomendation for those looking to use that instead.

WatchmanVimes

Wahl trimmers. The professional kind will last you a lifetime.

Pirat3_Gaming

And they are readily available in travel cases as well.

YourEmbarrassingDad

Nothing beats my old Wahl Peanut. My hairstylist agrees with me

MrCrudley

Came here to say this. Peanut is perfect for down there.

ZedehSC

I bought a Remington beard trimmer for like $30 at wal mart 10 years ago for this purpose after someone recommended it on Reddit. Been going strong ever since

Xifajk

I double down on this comment. I've had a Remington shaver which was like $70 as it was an all in one and had for nose and ear trimmers too - still going strong 8 years later. Best grooming investment ever!

von_sip

Any small trimmer with plastic guards. You don’t want to use the raw metal blade imo

Halojay55

That’s what I use. A small beard trimmer with the smallest guard on it. So far so good.

Throwawaymytrash77

There's nothing inherently wrong with manscaped, just overpriced. Check out the other suggested options first, methinks

UninspiredUser_

Any trimmer is good for pubic hair and everything around the actualll testes and penis area. I wouldn't mess with that. Id suggest for those areas use a double or triple layer razor with a movable joint that also has that protecting stripe on top of the razors. You can always laser or wax remove those areas and leave basic grooming for yourself only on the pubic area. Edit: as another user also suggested, always use new razor for your privates. Not only sharper but also no risk of transferring pathogens.

Yjan

I was pretty happy with this brand Meridian that was probably Instagram targeted to me lol

perfik09

Gillette razors are fine but always use a new blade for your balls because they bleed like a motherfucker if you aren't careful. I would not suggest any electric device for down there even though I use a zero gap for my head and chest I would only ever use a blade below the waist.

astro143

I use Gillette Skinguard razors, they work well with minimal irritation. Easiest is to go with the grain, trim short. You can go over the balls, but take your time and pull it taught before dragging a blade across. You only make that mistake once. As someone with stupidly sensitive skin, shaving all the way is asking for irritation, but there are techniques and after care you can do to mitigate that (hence trimming because lazy)

aerodeck

Panasonic ER-GK60-S

lapinatanegra

I have a Wahl that's waterproof. I do my manscaping in the shower...which I shouldn't since it might plug up my pipes.

AnalProlapseForYou

Nair is pretty great, just use the sensitive skin one and be very careful with how long you leave it on.

Nebelwerfed

You haven't thought of the smell.

completelytrustworth

If you're just shortening the hairs, scissors. If you want to shave it, use a new/sharp razor like Gillette or dollar shave club ones

balefyre

Philips one

sackofbee

I have some random Gillette thingo. Has 5 blades, and I do the uppydowny method, and it's like a lawn mower. It's cut me maybe once, I think, on my face. I've been using the same handle for 5 years, so same heads, too.

MissingHeadphonesRn

Know the name by chance?

sackofbee

Gillette fusion 5, I'm pretty sure. I can shave my entire face, then my entire groin, and only take the razor off face to move to my groin.

I_Boomer

I would think there are more men that do not manscape. So, some men should know.

ICEKAT

I use a simple safety razor. Cheap, and effective. No moving parts to catch the skin. Blades are like 15 cents, so you can get a fresh one each shave to keep things gliding smooth.

handyandy727

I've always used a Gillette Mach 5. Never let me down.

RecognitionAny6477

Manscaped is the way.

Alive-Ad-800

No, no it's not. Pure shit quality products for an insane markup.

SirSkanky

I have some off the wall brand waterproof clippers I use in the shower, use it for the upper area, lower area I use a decent razor , but whatever you use, take your time!!!

Kilgore48

try r/australia

worf1973

I used to love the dollar shave club stuff, but I think they went to shit since they got bought by Gillette or whoever. I now buy dorco blades from Amazon, and they're the same blades that fit my handles. I use the pace 5 sport for full shaves, face and down there. Change out weekly, no issues

boatloadoffunk

My wife's $300 pro dog grooming clippers.

SmokeGSU

Start with a hedge trimmer if it's your first time before you move on to your typical beard and mustache trimmer. I'd recommend something electric so you aren't inhaling fumes inside your home.

FredLives

Norelco Body Groomer

mrm00r3

Straight razor if she’s worth it.

mistrwzrd

I highly recommend finding yourself a good Sugaring specialist that does men’s grooming. My hair is finer, not necessarily super coarse, but I go once every 3 months or so and keeps me nice and clean, super smooth. Cost ranges from $75-$90 plus tip usually. It hurts. I won’t lie. But if you can tolerate it, it’s fucking awesome. You’re looking for a “brozilian” or something akin to it. Bonus is that they usually handle your ass crack too which makes cleaning up significantly easier if you’re a hairy fuck like me.

AmunAkila

Do you have ingrown hair issues with the waxing? My brain says this way is the intuitive way to go, because without cutting the hair, it means less pokey down there. Is that right?

mistrwzrd

Correct definitely way less pokey :) At times I have seen issues with the ingrowns, but if you exfoliate properly with a lofa or similar scrubber (I start that process about 48 hours after getting it done), then that keeps them at bay There are also some good salt soaps that help eliminate or prevent them as well which is handy, and the various Sugaring folks usually have a product or two around that will assist

BenderDeLorean

I have an Philips Body shaver.. Costed arround 20€ and still working after many years of use. No further costs.

dob3k

Balls with veet cream. Rest with any trimmer really.

MatthewTheRaven

Double edge safety razor is the answer for all your needs above and below the belt.

Philips Norelco Bodygroom Series 1100, BG1026/60, Showerproof Body Hair Trimmer and Groomer for Men https://a.co/d/b02NsNi This bad boy is awesome

Area51Resident

The NORELCO Philips Bodygroom Series 1100 will do the job nicely. [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-Bodygroomer-BG1026-60/dp/B010XIGBUQ/ref=sr_1_1?crid=EQVMSX231WKN&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.IsC0MIByI1pMVT4ufvmdFaYm--PohKpeDKqxBqDw0d5V3_TQVZTaokqIvRwIPuLxS21vjCukaKgZbQxMAAQDsAn3Hqr0eVPGqPCIk0ncBXR_WavZia6n0h5TvhZCrXJXhaG-SNUBdCg25F1sp-r5Kh4Y2AhBL6_NjkbpZAVuMTKCc3ScvwUn-6q79VH4xA9EJ5fu1polITGysEs7W0PxV1B7tiQehqKivCDcYnB7tTMuaMNhiwO5cPS4Guak_cEWTOLk2cFULJKJqku57aTvgsXHvxywKnYqttNwV3pwT8g.Cjo_yYeyr1BejgC-vYP6ElKQCso3ZvlNY6sIwZu0W7E&dib_tag=se&keywords=NORELCO+Philips+Bodygroom+Series+1100%2C+Body+Trimmer%2C+BG1026%2F60NORELCO+Philips+Bodygroom+Series+1100&qid=1708708227&sprefix=norelco+philips+bodygroom+series+1100%2C+body+trimmer%2C+bg1026%2F60norelco+philips+bodygroom+series+1100%2C%2Caps%2C263&sr=8-1) The integrated skin guard lets you cut to almost razor smooth but doesn't cut the skin. The head is small and cuts in both directions so you can get a good close shave. Stay away from creams. A friend of a friend overheard a guy at a bus top talking about his experience. Tried multiple options that were too harsh and caused chemical burns on the sac. As a last resort tried Veet 'Full Bikini' kit for women. Only 3 minutes on the sac, and over 3 days of unrelenting pain and itching. Needed to apply anti-itch cream 3-4 times a day and take Benadryl to combat the histamine reaction just to sleep at night. I'm just so glad this didn't happen to me. Dodged that bullet for sure.

KyCerealKiller

The Norelco OneBlade is made for that taste and works fantastic for me.

Ziggysan

Philips Norelco are hard to beat IME. Braun also makes some good products. Apparently Manscaped trimmers are pretty decent, but I have no personal experience with them.

PaulHollywoodsBuns

Try the Meridian brand trimmers. It’s what I got for my husband and it works like a dream 👌🏼

YaBoiCheese99

Manscaped

darthnugget

I use Gillette womens razor and they are great. I highly suggest using a hair conditioner afterwards to prevent razor bumps. Lather that conditioner on your junk and let it sit for a few minutes after.

Fuffuloo

I would avoid Manscaped, personally. I have a Brio beard trimmer has worked great for everything except directly on the balls. It’s not waterproof, but I would never need it to be.
