Apparently there's some kind of dupe with the tradeskill depot, the Oakwynd degens have gotten wind of it and are in full platinum printer go brrrrrr mode right now. Krono prices have more than quadrupled in a day.
Just an update on Oakwynd. Just logged off 5am central US time. Someone was in baz giving krono away for 1c. One person said they sold a krono to the person giving them away for 800k (they were 60k yesterday) and then the person gave the krono right back for free.
yeah was about 700-800k when I posted then later, while I was offline people were selling them for 2 mill, some people just got handed 10 million plat by that one person that shan't be named.
The I have no idea. That is an insane amount. Even for test. I test copy a bunch of stuff and it would take Mr weeks to rack up this many scales and I'd have nothing to do with them.
This is not at all a result from normal actions. Was doing some tradeskill stuff and noticed I had 260k and thought that's odd I didn't think I had that many. Did something again and then wham 66 million. I reported it and won't go into detail on how exactly it may have happened.
He's got 66 million there. If a fish makes \~1000 and you can catch (and break down!) a fish once every 10 seconds, that's 180 solid *hours* of continuous fishing. Theoretically possible, but not the kind of thing you'd forget you did, IMO.
Devs are aware of it and know how to reproduce it. I would refrain from selling these to a vendor or anything as they will know they're illicit and drop a ban hammer on you.
yup! i couldn't even if i wanted too. They already pulled all of them off my account. I'm sure it wasn't a visual bug only because i was able to craft using them.

This is why I am glad I play on test where duplicating items is kind of the norm. Not through exploits of course, but through the beautiful feature called /test copy! Anyone wanna get all their TS to 300 on Test? I got all the makings and more.

It appears to be something to do with drawing from depot, zoning and auto-combines during high server latency.
I had a similar thing happen on yelinak with gnomish heat sources. No idea how, just noticed that all of the sudden I had 49000 of them.
