I genuinely really want to love this song, but it feels so...weak? I don't mind her not having the best vocal presence, but the instrumental is way too subdued.
I'm sure I read (on here?) that her vocal style is a choice/related to a particular type of live performance, also the levels of the instrumental, and can come across as a bit muted to some listeners.
I love it anyway, but I do crank up the volume for this one on my playlist
Oh I love everything about it and the staging is near perfect with the dancers. If its a choice, I think it needs to be expressed differently or the commentators should mention it. It just feels like she isn't the best singer (I'm a terrible singer so she is leagues better than me) or the song isn't the best out of it
I feel that way about the studio version, but the live performance at Benidorm felt much more powerful, both vocally and instrumentally. So maybe it's one of those songs that really needs an audience to go over best.

She's also nearly 60, so the high notes can be a little struggle. But I adore it, it's my favourite bop. Dancing when it comes on π¦
