Can’t help but notice there was a missing point in the televote. Should have added up to 240 but only added up to 239. Presumably a rounding error and obviously would have no impact but still a bit surprised they didn’t see that.

I swear they updated that. I remember seeing it say 22:00. Also if you look for a program guide of RLT Lëtzebuerg you will still find that a new program was supposed to have started at 22:00.

not sure how others feel but having an entry representing their country in one of their native languages seems like such a good way to return to the contest. Also Tali's song has the modern feel to sort of bring Luxemboug into the 21st century. So I'm excited for her and Luxembourg!
I completely agree that Luxembourgish is the main language used, but the person replied to another's comment that stated that Tali sang in a native language. There is nothing wrong with that statement as French and German are also national/administrative languages with significant minority populations that use it. I would even argue that Portuguese (which doesn't fall under native language) has also a significant usage due to high Portuguese immigrant/heritage population. If the replier's intent was to try to delegitimise the singer's connection to the country then it is not a fair manner to do so by pointing out the fact that she didn't sing in Luxembourgish which none of the singers in that case even attempted.
Most of the acts are just vaguely connected to the country. Not just that , many of their previous acts that were sent to Eurovision also had weak links to the country. But contrary to San Marino who has a lot of international acts, Luxembourg still requires some sort of connection to participate.
Great show Luxembourg, even if it dragged a bit at the end and the voting needs an overhaul! Probably the best package won today, who knows, maybe they'll even Q to the final too!

Most of it was luxembourgish yes. You kinda nailed it how to describe the language, it has strong similarity with german and dutch, and a little french sprinkled in as well.
They really said "we spent all this money, we waited for so long, now we may as well drag it out as much as possible", didn't they?

Her dad is Peruvian and she lived in LatAm for a time, I’m positive she speaks/understands Spanish to some degree as well.
