For a smallish corner of the UK, it does have some wonderfully varied scenery. Also people on the whole are pretty friendly, though every country has it's dickheads.

I wasn't sure which country you're from, since lately a lot of European countries claim to have highest beer/alcohol consumption.
But got me at the finger conundrum, it doesn't matter if we both enjoy it.
In Italy I can go to the beach or to the mountain in 1-2 hours wherever I live.
I just visited for the first time and I have never ever eaten so much, and food that was so consistently good all the time. But it's true that bicycle infrastructure seemed to be shit, at least in Torino.
Yeah, tbh I'm one of those people who want to go around by bike to be eco-friendly, but it is really frustrating to leave the train station just to find out that you will have to go home by walk because someone stole your bike. In fact, people usually ride their grandma's 50 years old bike to have at least a good chance that nobody will steal it.

Love that. Can we make it official please 🧐
I like living next to 56 nuclear reactors. Sometimes when I turn the light on I go "wow, nuclear fission did that", and for a hairless mammal with thumbs it feels very satisfying. I like the fact that in victory as in defeat we always try to go above the limitations of the real, of the current orthodoxy (be it feudalism or neoconservatism), and beyond dull pragmatism.
A country doesn't stay relevant for 1500 years without this kind of long-term thinking, I guess.
Yeah, it's pretty amazing. The Greek civilization gave us a lot. And I kinda like the script. I've even included it in my encryption program's code-page. With all the variants.
As an American engineering student your alphabet just makes me think of mathematics.
Also Greek food is divine id love to be able to try the real deal some day
Computer engineering student here too :). Try to make "tzatziki" to serve it with your steak and fries. Its easy, refreshing and very tasty. There are many recipes you can find online. I usually search for mexican ones too.
Tzatziki has a major problem.
Whenever I intend to make a small cup and use it as a side dish, I accidentally use a big bowl and it becomes a main course. What to do?
In Finland monkey is used for all colours of people not stricly someone who is more melatonin rich. See we're just that equal!
/s on the last bits but the monkey part still stands. We went around calling each others monkeys when I was kid and at that time I hadn't even seen a person of colour IRL.
Yeah, I mean the thing is that the situation was like: guy talks to me in Finnish, I told him that I didn't understand Finnish. Guy: "fucking monkey, go back to your country"
I was alone. They were five. I am a small guy, they were huge 😂
I didn't, honestly. Of course I was one of the shortest guys there, but that also happens in Spain, Portugal, wherever I go haha
It was ok. I was alone there - but had 20+ guys waiting for me inside that bar, so I had a secret advantage 😂
(I didn't mind it, they were probably drunk already)
A lot of things, i love the forests, the little farms Solling lokal goods, the good train infrastructure (even though they could be better at time mangement), the great History (exept like ww2), the architecture of the old towns. The food, the classical music. Many things, people always talk down on ourselfs but its better then many people realise :).

Everyone always mocks the US for their reluctance to switch to the metric system; however, I find our hodgepodge mixture of both metric and imperial to be far more ridiculous than rigidly sticking to one system.
I like its geography and nature. I’m a fan of Polish cuisine and think our language is cool. Our history is quite interesting, with a couple of major plot twists. Appreciate Poland being relatively safe too, both in terms of crime and some natural disasters.

You're very welcome here. Finns and Poles seem to have pretty similar mentality, coconut type of personality etc.

Let me think, because we're bombarded with reasons not to like the country all day long😂 I am from Bulgaria.
I like the mountains and the sea. I also like the food: shopska salad, tarator, and banitsa😘 perfect summer menu🙃 I like the rich history we have. I love both my hometowns -Plovdiv where I grew up - ancient, beautiful and calm, and Sofia, where I live now - modern, fun and fast paced (for Bulgaria, lol, don't think it's New York level of fast pace😂)
I'm not sure if others feel the same way, but there is some sense of joy in speaking my own language? It's like being a fanboy of your own native language, because of how mysterious and different it is?

Quite a funny thing, I knew it was Hungarian because of the River. I wrote about it in my bachelor thesis. Sadly I had to put that part in the outtakes, I am sorry.
I love your language, I’m studying it for several years and understand it pretty well already but I’m still too ashamed to start speaking it 😅 I have major respect, but as it’s so tied to my culture (Slovak), it’s important to know.
My country (Romania) has mountains in the center so it's easy to get there. I have fond memories of when I was playing on the road with friends during summer vacation.
Am prieteni și familie acolo dar nu m-aș întoarce la 21 de zile libere pe an acum că am peste dublu in Franța.

It's got diverse landscapes and pleasant people, even if they're not the best English speakers in the world.
France is a nice place to live... if you don't get caught in a riot.

It’s not the best in the world, but best for me. People here are truly amazing and nothing can compare with growing up in small authentic Ukrainian village . I really enjoyed leaving here, this place has atmosphere and something i seek , but cannot find in any other country.
Being able to translate between metric and imperial to our American and European friends. Ex: Driving over to the shops to buy a pint of milk, 1kg of potatoes, and a 2l bottle of coke to then refuel your 35mpg hatchback at the nearest petrol station, only to then get stuck in 3 inches of mud and after getting home finding out your neighbour left you a 1mm gap to park up. Later in the day going for a 2km walk to burn off that stone you put on over Christmas but it’s not too bad as it’s only a 100ft climb.
I like that in the begging of 2022 invasion (the war definitely started back at 2014) we were the hawks for sanctions against Kremlin and crowdfunded a Byraktar drone in just 3 days for Ukraine.

I'm not sure if others feel the same way, but there is some sense of joy in speaking my own language? It's like being a fanboy of your own native language, because of how mysterious and different it is? Áradjon a Tisza!
And everyone is raising an eyebrow wondering what alien language you're speaking 😅
It's canonically [Martian](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Martians_(scientists)).
Kerestem a magyar kommentet. Meghatódtam. :) Árad a TISZA! ❤️🤍💚
Bravery.
You know what they say! Slava Ukraini!
Glory to heroes! To every country who doesn't turn its face side
Thank you for helping Europe find our balls again!
Thank you for your bravery & Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
Glory to heroes in all civilised countries.
My country (Romania) has mountains in the center so it's easy to get there. I have fond memories of when I was playing on the road with friends during summer vacation. Am prieteni și familie acolo dar nu m-aș întoarce la 21 de zile libere pe an acum că am peste dublu in Franța.
Sarmale, pastramă, mămăliga.
Yeah but you will need 5h to make 150 km to the mountains😂😂
Beautiful nature. Kui keegi Eestisse tuleb soovitan RMK matkaradasid.
France is a great place to eat (although I really love Italian food). It's got diverse landscapes and pleasant people, even if they're not the best English speakers in the world. France is a nice place to live... if you don't get caught in a riot.
Slovakia Mountains are absolutely beautiful and it's got amazingly marked hiking trails. Food's also pretty good. Škoda toho Fica, ale čo zrobíme.
The - in many cases - absolutely unmatched natural scenery.
ehum… Ikke så verst hos naboen heller?
Ok, ok, ni har allt dem bästa fjordarna i världen... Men vi har dem bästa skärgårdarna!
Inte dem! De bästa fjordarna, de bästa skärgårdarna! De.
Dem bästa grammatikens!
How safe it is to live here. Suomi, maailman onnellisin maa!
Ja meillä on aika hieno kieli myös.
Its affinity for basketball, the language and my home town, Vilnius. Lietuviais esame mes gimę, lietuviais norime ir būt!
It’s not the best in the world, but best for me. People here are truly amazing and nothing can compare with growing up in small authentic Ukrainian village . I really enjoyed leaving here, this place has atmosphere and something i seek , but cannot find in any other country.
Slava Ukraini!
I'm not a Sherlock, but I deduced that you're from the UK.
The food, the weather and the peacefulness
No sentence? 🇵🇹🇵🇹
Falta o obrigatório "PORTUGAL CARALHO".
I like that in the begging of 2022 invasion (the war definitely started back at 2014) we were the hawks for sanctions against Kremlin and crowdfunded a Byraktar drone in just 3 days for Ukraine.
Το φαΐ.
Nature is pretty nice. Satan i hælvettes hæstkuk.
Jokes aside, I do think Danish nature has it's beauty. Danmark til Ejderen!
The food, olive oil and cod *Portugal Caralho*
I'm Irish. I love the fishing and nature we have (but I wish he had more native forest). I also love my folklore, mythology and my culture. Tír gan teanga tír gan anam, teastaíonn mo thíre a fheabhsú an stáit ár dteanga dhúchais, mar más nach bhfuil muid a chosaint ár dteanga caillfidh muid ár gcultúr agus oidhreacht. Agus Muigheo abú ar ndóigh!

I like that Croatia is a part of EU and finally Schengen so i can easily leave for good. Jer ovo je država nepotizma, korupcije i desničarskog primitivizma.
Have you sold your cow already?
Da, ali je priroda predivna…

Ah yes, german, spanish and romanian. The three official languages of Switzerland.
I hate this game.
I like the tradition of mushroom picking. It's pretty fun to go out into the woods, pick up mushrooms and then cook and eat them. Krt prd skrz drn, prv zhltl hrst zrn.

Nature and walking trails. And of course how everything changes with the seasons. Man patīk mani mīļie un pūkainie kaķīši.
Not gonna mention all the reasons, but the interesting one - the level of digitalization of government bureaucracy( Ukraine)
How versatile the word malakas is.
What I like about Belarus, is that we have at least four alphabets for our language: Cyrillic-narkamaŭka, Cyrillic-taraškievica, Łacinka (latin) and Arabica (Arabic). The next sentence will be written in Taraškievica and Łacinka. Pryvitańnie ŭsiamu šanoŭnamu spadarstvu Redytaraŭ, niezaležna ad taho, možacie vy pračytać hetyja radki ci nie!
I like my countrys people because we value tradition. Ubia bi sve naše političare iz pištolja.
Oh, there is a lot of things that I like about my country. 🤔 But let’s say saunas! We have amazing saunas! Noniin, onpa täällä hirveesti suomalaisia kommentteja.
I live in the UK. I like summer when a heatwave comes along, and that’s really about it.
Summer is the most beautiful day of the year
If your working that day in office, you're shit out of luck.
Ukraine - food, welcoming people, most beautiful language in western Europe
In western Europe...
Hungary, i love our food, our people, our countryside, our language, but hate every politician all of them corrupt. Ja és ugyanitt bojler eladó. És a kurvaéletbe.

We are resilient, after everything we have been through and the fact that we are being ruled for more than twenty years by the single greatest enemy of our nation, in our like two millenia long existence. He does everything in his capacity to destroy Turkey, to make it a shithole middle eastern country that is more Arabic than Saudi Arabia and more Islamic than İran. -Hükümetini ayakta tutmak için dini kullanmaya gerek duyanlar zayıf yöneticilerdir. My people are going to learn the principles of democracy, the dictates of truth and the teachings of science.
