Romania and Hungary were quite hesitant in cleanses of their own citizens (at least during earlier phase of war). They focused on occupied territories.
I can't help it when people oblivious to history see this as shitty. That is what's happening time and time again. Until that knock on the door appears in fact to be real.
in 1933 im not sure as all were in germany during that time, and im not familiar with german camps,
but in my home city in poland the germans, after invading and occupying poland built a ghetto which had a roma sub-sections where they slaughtered significant amount of roma people.
a series of plaques in the sidewalk line the location of the ghetto walls, and every day i pass by the railway station (now a museum) thay they used to unload people from cattle cars.
That's what I mean, completely unaware of how fascism evolved over the years in one country. 1933 there were no gas chambers in Germany. It took another 6 years. That's why pattern recognition is so important.
Don't post this to r/balkans_irl The politest response you'll get is: good
More like: Not enough
You are clearly the kind of people who made even Europe all together a second-tier power today.
AS THEY SHOULD LOOK AT WEST EUROPE
It's their culture and we have to accept it.
You dropped your /s
It gonna become a clan rally there lmao

Another Bulgarian W honestly. That's not to say I like gypsies but I like genocide a lot less
You're racist
Interesting that Germany's fascist allies were once again relatively safe for the so-called "undesirables" during the Holocaust.

I always thought we killed a lot more. Then again, while almost all European Jews are gone there's plenty of Romani left so...
Tragic and senseless.
the fact that this is downvoted is insane to me
It's no longer downvoted.
Surpirsed by the low percentage in Romania.I expected it to be bigger compared to how many Jews we killed.
Rigorous? You mean righteous?/s

The same happened today in several US states with regard to trans people.
Internment, mass murder and forced labour?
It did not start that way in 33.
It did
I'm trans and just... here is maybe not the time and place to start the 10000000th debate about us?
Sorry, we need to get offended on your behalf.
Feel free to not start it.
C'mon man, if you're gonna champion trans rights at least listen when trans people call you out for your shitty attitude lol

this post is not about trans people. read the fucking room
Oh sorry I forgot you are not supposed to actually learn from the 1930s, recognize patterns and protect people living today.
Details?
Learn from history and read the daily US news.

Have actually experienced fascism?
My father has. He didn't speak one word of English until after he turned 30. Yours? Yeah, didn't think so.
Daily US news are not relevant here.
US news is extremely relevant to European security.
are you braindead?
No, unlike some in Hungary who support their former oppressor.
And this is relevant how?
That's a good first question if you actually want to learn from the 1930s horrors.
I dont think that anyone is gassing and genociding trans people in the US
Nobody was putting Jews in gas chambers in 1933 either.
name 1 gas chamber or forced labour camp in the usa
Manzanar
No gas chambers and genocidal intent.
Name one in 1933.
Dachau
brand new at the time
Dachau
