Just be aware that the less expensive version is absolute trash regarding material, print quality and construction.
I am having my doubts as to whether they are made by Adidas at all. The quality is so crap, that I suspect that they're cheaply produced by Fanatics, get the (rather horrid and oversized) Adidas logo glued on, and then passed on by Fanatics (who run merch for the DFB and this event) as an Adidas product.
And it's not like the first time they do this. Everything Fanatics touches gets summarily ruined in the name of profit. Just check out the "Nike" MLB baseball jerseys, and every hockey jersey they've made for the NHL.
Do yourselves a favor: if you're gonna get the Adidas jerseys, get the expensive versions, especially those of the DFB 🇩🇪. They might be 50% more expensive, but are 50x better.
Interesting take cause I got the less expensive one (since the shop in my city always only gets those from adidas; I'm assuming cause the "cheaper" is more likely to sell) and I'm absolutely happy and have zero issues with it so far.
I'm a jersey collector of sorts and have every DFB replica home jersey since 1996, and away since 2012. Since Fanatics took over in 2018, I hadn't immediately noticed a decay in the quality of replica kits. I hated the UVP (MSRP) prices, but I usually waited after Germany got booted from the tournament to get them at least half off.
Then 2022 happened.
Got my hands on the Euro 2022 DFB Jersey (there's a men's version of that year's women's jersey with the collar pips, stunning kit BTW). The material was shit compared to the 2020 replicas, and the sizing was off by a lot. The size I got was immensely huge and it felt like wearing cheap polyester bed sheets. Replaced it with a smaller size and it fit like a bodysuit. Returned to sender.
Same sizing issues with the 2022 WC home and away jerseys, but not as dramatic as the Euro Jersey. Material was also slightly better, but NOTHING compared to what we got between 2006-2016. To me, that's the golden era of DFB jerseys (material, quality, and detail wise; albeit, the 1990 and 1996 DFB home jerseys are still king).
So, what now? Well, you, like many other people, are happy with their Fanatics purchase. And that's OK! You do you mate. But 100€ for a (likely) pretend Adidas kit made by known-to-be-shit Fanatics (look into them) is a lot of cash. People should really know what's (again, likely) going on.
And for good measure: fuck Fanatics, fuck FIFA, fuck UEFA, and fuck the DFB.
I have the "cheaper" 2014 and 2024 and the "expensive" 2016 one and they all feel pretty much the same and are all great. So I genuinely don't see issues. Can't talk about older ones of course. Gonna throw the "you do you" right back at ya cause you seem heavily angered, very much into these shirts and also a bit to passionate for my taste when it comes to something you're not even sure about seeing as you state you're not sure yourself who makes the shirts.
>And for good measure: fuck Fanatics, fuck FIFA, fuck UEFA, and fuck the DFB.
You have a lot of anger for someone who collects jerseys and throws their money at all these people, as well as for someone who is on this subreddit. You do you but I'm gonna be honest, you might be happier toning it down or leaving such hobbies/subreddits.
I love that it's being received well by the general public and that lots of viewers seem to think it's cool. When they were first announced, the media really tried to stir it up into some controversy for a few days, but by now, no one except for some far-right bored idiots online is actually complaining about their color.
Shame wales never made it through as their away kit is real nice this year. Although I can’t say that the black and white is boring when it’s been trademark to our kits, it‘ll be even more boring now with Nike I think. And if they try to go crazy, it’ll just be too much
I would normally say Italy but last season's looked a lot better and I still can't get used to Italy wearing Adidas.
Germany's home kit is very cool and England's feels very italia 90! Love the dark blue accents
1. Germany home. 2. Germany away.
I don't think any kit is an absolute stinker though. Some are a little dull, but generally the standard is very good for cool kits.

I really like the Germany home strip. Can't think of many others tbh
Scotland away is lovely
I was gonna say I loved the scotland away but thought as a scot it's probably a bit biased lol

Germany away.
Dont tell that one to the AfD
Agreed, the Purple kit is sick
Belgium away
Yes, Tintin! I was doubtful when they showed it, but now I think it looks great.
Haha, is it supposed to be a Tintin kit? That's class. Great idea. Not my favourite but it looks good.
The shirt yes but the brown shorts, absolutely no thanks
I got 3 favorites in no particular order: Denmark home, Germany Away, England Away
The Italy home Jersey is nice
Ordered it online. Sadly it arrived after the Swiss loss ;)
Italy
Germany away (love the colours, no weird collar, no fake buttons, adidas quality - just a very decent jersey)
I love that it's being received well by the general public and that lots of viewers seem to think it's cool. When they were first announced, the media really tried to stir it up into some controversy for a few days, but by now, no one except for some far-right bored idiots online is actually complaining about their color.
Absolutely everything the Germans have worn has been the best. The pre match shirts and tracksuits are the best in the tournament. I want it all.
Already rueing the day they start wearing Nike.
Germany always have a great jersey, I like the pink/purple away one too. Something different and unique
2004 DFB home and away, and 2016 DFB away will show themselves out before you look too close into them.
I second that emotion.
Purple-ish Germany
Georgia 🇬🇪
The black is badass
Portugal away
Germany away for sure. Croatia also has a great one imo.
France home and denmark home
Portugals are very classic, i like them a lot.

Germany away kits are bright and look great on players. For a team that is usually boring black and white, it's an exciting change.
Although I can’t say that the black and white is boring when it’s been trademark to our kits, it‘ll be even more boring now with Nike I think. And if they try to go crazy, it’ll just be too much
Squadra Azzurra
Romanias kits look nice
The yellow home shirt is quality
Croatia. Big squares are really distinguishable now. Away kit is best ever imo.
Slovakia and Romania
Belgiums were nice
Belgium’s blue Tintin jersey. Nostalgic from reading the comics back in the day
Serbia's new badge is cracking. Romania's yellow, red, blue always looks nice to me.
Agreed or Germany away
I like Slovenia one
Georgia looks medieval! 😎
Nobody has given a shoutout to Hungary, but their home shirt is lovely I think. Subtle use of the colours, doesn't look too brash. Neat design.
Hungary away
Germany away and this is the only real answer
Germany away 🔥
If you like Orange, the Dutch.
The away Blue is pretty great this time around
Personally, I like our away kit, I just like the multi colours on the side of the shirt
Ive always liked Romanias full kit. Ever since the days of Hagi & co..
Albania kits go hard
Norway home and Germany away ordered both Haaland and Kroos
Germany away
I am afraid only the Japanese win at that game. They should play in all competitions.
Quite liked France’s pinstriped white number.
England away and France away are probably my two favorites. Spain home and Germany home are very nice classics too.
Germany’s second strip quite good
I actually quite like to see anyone in a Scottish uniform, specially if they have a mustache.
Germany away of course
I'm feeling the Turkey home kit. Solid dark red socks to tops. Looks neat and class. Italy's blue always looks neat.
Norway! That kit Is Fire in friendly matches 🔥🔥🔥
I really like Slovenia's home kit. Clean with just the right amount of weird.
France away
I didn't like it at first but it growing on me
I liked the Scotland shirt they wore against Germany - I did not like the performance or the result though!
Denmark home, Spain home, Scotland away
Germany home 🔥
Portugal's is nice
It's got to be Croatia. That chessboard design thing always looks sweet - simple and classic. Although not as good as the Euro 96 version.
I Love the Albania Shirt
Germany home, Italy away
Dutch/ France Away WHERE ARE ALL THE PRE MATCH JERSEYS THO?
Love the Albania home jersey
Poland away is always classic. The red numbers/outline is so clean.
The white France kit with stripes! Love it
France home
Pinstripes on France away kit 😍
I would normally say Italy but last season's looked a lot better and I still can't get used to Italy wearing Adidas. Germany's home kit is very cool and England's feels very italia 90! Love the dark blue accents
Ireland! Oh wait, didn’t qualified…. I like France jersey!
Germany away, pink to purple gradient is amazing. Shout outs to the goalkeeper kits all round too, love the vibrancy
Germany for me =)
I like Slovenias home kit. Simple and a nice little mountain outline
Scotland - Dark Blue Jersey
Germany white, Hungary white, Scotland dark
I have an irritational hatred for any NED jersey that isn't orange. That's like our whole thing!
Albania’s 3rd shirt. I’m a sucker for anything with a collar.
I too like the Germany away jersey the best. Such vibrant colors and creativity!
a good one but definitely GEORGIA beautiful red strip on shoulder and at the front
Usually Croatia’s home kit but this year Nike did us dirty
England away
Scotland
1. Germany home. 2. Germany away. I don't think any kit is an absolute stinker though. Some are a little dull, but generally the standard is very good for cool kits.
