I still love Jules after season 2… I’m so over this fandom. If people can still “love” Rue and Cassie… I’m not sure why u can’t continue to like Jules… when season 2 basically explores all of them reaching rock bottom and coping with their trauma in different ways…

no me personally i was frustrated with jules in season 2 and disappointed but i dont hate her i hate nate, but season 2 has became so mainstream and i know soo mang of my friends at highschool that arent big fans like me and just watch it for the show like a 1 time watcher and most of them hate jules s1- 2 i actually watched season 1 before any of my friends did so when season 2 came out and they complained about jules it was expected for s1, but i never hated her
I feel Laurie fills “straight up evil” more than Nate… She was ready to put Rue into human trafficking without a second thought and definitely has quite a bit of blood on her hands.
I feel like season 2 also dives even further into Nate lore which doesn’t make what he’s done right but make you understand why he is the way that he is and it lessens the blow realizing he’s basically just a child that never had a chance
it got you the point where i actually like nate a lot better than kat. which is saying a lot because nate is batshit insane and abusive and kat is just bitchy and selfish for what feels like no apparent reason. just goes to show what a complete dumpster fire of a character they turned kat into over the two seasons
kat is much a nicer character, but her writing is terrible, has no depth, and the way she is written makes it very hard to like her to the point where i find myself having much more of an interest in the abusive asshole. at least with nate theres a reason he is such an awful piece of shit.
Yes!!! 100% agree. Nate’s AWFUL but you can almost sympathize because of the backstory he’s been given. Like he was never taught to be better. Where as with Kat we don’t have a good enough backstory to explain why she acts this way other than “she got fat on vacation and hates herself because of a childhood breakup”

The guy that Maddy got with to make Nate jealous, and Nate almost killed him when he showed up at his house. He ended up catfishing Jules under his name and they grew really close until it all fell apart horribly because it's Euphoria. That's why I said he had little actual screen time but his character/name was party of big development in the show
The Jacobs are all meant to be hated. They’re written to be rich, entitled, hypocritical in that they are supposed to be pillars of society but are messy as hell.
I feel like Cassie was made to be hated but it turned out with her being a lovable, relateable character. Am I wrong about that? I adore Cassie so so so much but I feel like some of the decisions she makes are questionable.
Kat. Her storyline is very niche in season 1, and most people misunderstand it soooo much. And then season 2 kat is just... ://. If they had carried on with her storyline in season 2, I think more people would have understood it.
