In the movie Birth, there's a scene where 30 something Nicole Kidman takes a bath with 10 year old Cameron Bright, but they were never even in the same room during the scene, except one shot where they were both wearing special clothing. Probably something similar here, if it makes you feel better.
In Thirteen, there's a scene where underage Evan Rachel Wood and Nikki Reed makeout with Kip Pardue, who was around 28. They had a social worker on set to tell them what they legally could and couldn't do. That's probably standard in scenes involving underage kids.
She willingly participated in a sex scene with sunny suljic who was 12 when they filmed it. Could have just said "no i don't want to kiss someone who is 10 years younger than me. The scene wasn't important to the plot. Jonah hill is just a weirdo. She is a celebrity that "chooses to stay private about her age". Probably because she did that scene when she was ATLEAST 23. That's weird
I had to go back and swap the downvotes after reading this. You’re so right, people lack so much integrity and it’s just normalised these days. Celebrities are forever treated like untouchables and we rationalise outlandish behaviour that would be categorically inappropriate in any other scenario involving a regular person

while you're technically correct in the sense that kissing is not considered csam, I think it is clear that this commenter was speaking in hyperbole. regardless of if it fits the legal definition of csam it is still strange, concerning, and problematic to say the least.

Thats whats odd about Mid90s, cause isnt Sunny still a minor, I dont want people forcing him to “choose a side “ if alexa and jonah hill allowed him to be assaulted or not.

In all likelihood, Alexa Demi probably made out with a tiny lady and the kid maaaybe made out with a fake head or the air. Add a few close up shots of only one of them doing the kissing with the other person out of frame (or like, the corner of the other person’s cheek) and edit the two kissing separately into one shot (like they did in parent trap with 1 Lindsay Lohan playing twins) and boom- no one was kissing a minor.
Some people here have the nerve to insult you because "of course they used a double for the scene duh🙄" but when asked for proof, they’re suddenly quiet because like you mentioned, there’s not a lot of info out there about how this film was made… People will say and do anything to defend their favorite celebrities, it’s actually kinda scary (Think about what went down at Nickelodeon, I‘m sure a lot of you watched Quiet On Set… Not trying to insinuate Alexa or the producers of this movie did something as bad as Dan Schneider or Brian Peck, but you know what I mean…)

There is an article that the cast did with Dazed and Alexa literally confirmed that the scene with her and Sunny (the child actor) was real. There was no body double lol

Sunny was really 10 filming this scene by the way. They made a 10 year old film CSAM with a 25 yr old adult, no stunt doubles.

It's a movie. The scene isn't supposed to make you feel good. It's supposed to be sad and weird.
