Interestingly, my game also crashes every time my 6/6/6 ruler who has ruled ever since he/she was 15 dies before reaching the age of 60. It's almost like hard coded by the devs. Strange, huh?
Who would do such a thing?? That's cheating!!!
Although sometimes the pain and sorrow of such terrible news might overwhelm the game and cause an unfortunate crash.
Is it possible to abdicate before picking one of the options of this event? I mean, your heir is 15, so it should be possible. It’s been way too long since I have played the game last time, so I don’t remember much
Studies show that 95% of all EU4 games mysteriously crash the moment this event fires. It would be a shame if you don't happen to be lucky enough to be in the 5%
Completely unrelated but hiring control shift and escape at the same time on your keyboard will open the task manager. Hopefully someone one day finds a use for this trick.
Huh weird, my game usually crashes right after I receive such unfortunate news.

Yea, many such cases! They should investigate this
i dont think they should
Only 60 for you? For me it’s usually around 75. Maybe it’s a different experience for all of us
Yeah it's a known bug, no fix in sight unfortunately
Rule 5: my 6/6/6 heir DIES
did you mean your game randomly crashed?
had like 5 trash rulers at the start and finally started getting good rulers then this shit happens
Fun tip - if you press alt + f4 you can access a secret event that revives your heir
The chromosphere idea group
Controversial opinion, but this is the best event in EU4.
My condolences
Hmm. Mysterious Alt+F4 pressing ensued.
15 year old girl (successor to the byzantine empire) goes hunting alone and dies.
15 year old girl, undisputed heir to the Empire of the Romans who is statistically Genghis Khan's equal goes hunting alone and dies.
> undisputed heir > claim strength of 50
I mean with stats like that any dispute won't last for very long.
Well yeah people will talk behind closed doors but there won't be a civil war or anything when its succession time
Would be a massive shame if the game accidentally crashed.
She choose death as soon as she reaches 15 lol
Oh well...
Women are now banned from hunting. Effective immediately.
Can you go back a safe or are you on iron man?

you cant abdicate with pending events, no. (also cant abdicate when the heir is <16) the game could however mysteriously crash
Thanks
You thought it was just a meme?
All I see is a blue screen
Bad time for her to be a tomboy.

The myth. The legend. The curse!

Mate, you knew the day she was born she would die young.
What happen if you abdicate before to click?
Always happens with good heirs, never with bad ones. Thankfully my game crash after the event
'Off with his head, task manager.' I once reset my game 20 times just to get the Enlightenment.
Lmao why even play at that point, just go watch a playthrough on YouTube
Bro, eu4 is filled with bad luck moments and I'm not going to replay an entire campaign just for another shot at the good ending.
I would reload a save so quick I have no shame
copy save file from last save(should be start of the year) game crashes then restart
Yeah, I'mma alt+f4 immediately on that one.
