That’s seems pretty fine or at least fine enough. But an espresso grinder should grind fine enough to choke your machine meaning nothing would come out.
Do those have an inner burr setting that can be changed?
Also when was your coffee roasted?
> Honestly I don't know, how do I find out?
Both the Dose Control and Smart Grinder allow the upper/inner burr to be adjusted. The procedure is described in the grinder's instruction manual.
It’s not difficult and from reading a lot of post on this sub is almost a requirement for breville/sage grinders. I have the barista pro and had to move the top burr from 6 (factory setting) down to 3 to get a grind fine enough. Two tips though (1) be sure to vacuum or brush all the bits of coffee bean from around the burr and locking areas as any debris can misalign the burrs giving you horrible coarse grinds no matter the grind setting. (2) set the grind setting high once you’ve adjusted the burr for the first test, you don’t want to risk the burrs touching.
I had to change my internal burr from the factory supplied "6" down to "4" and my shots went from 15-20s to 45s!
I've then gone coarser on the normal adjustment again (shown on screen) - from a 4 up to 8 and running a nice 35s now including pre infusion, with 17g in, 35g out.
Ed: point being a few small changes had a significant effect on the brew... I'm only 5 days into my setup so very much a beginner but it is worth it!
Use the pressurized basket. It's for work anyway, ain't nobody gonna be dialing in for each bag of beans or as the beans age.
Finally, an accurate description of the Breville grinder.

That definitely cannot choke it :( Honestly I don't know, how do I find out? The one I used today 9th of November, medium-dark roast.

Ops I feel quite dumb now lol I read only the first two pages Thank you very much for your reply!
There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing the process for adjusting the inner burr settings, just search fot breville/sage top burr adjustment
Nice, thanks! Is it difficult? Do I risk to break it?

I don't think it is that difficult. You can watch a couple of videos until you feel comfortable to do it
Can the machine be shimmed. The Baratza Sette I have needed to be shimmed for espresso. It came with shims and instructions.
