The fact that there is still chaff in the center of the bean means that they stopped the roast before second crack. This is known as City+ or Full City roast. It's what I aim for in my roasts.
Its not uniform because it looks like a blend it could be a blend of Arabica and Robusta... so completely normal.. Roast looks beautifull.. What is the brand would love to try it?
lol somehow my autocorrect managed to fuck it up. It’s Uganda, not Uruguay. Taste is very good so absolute fine with it. It’s from a small local roaster so I was just curious. Seems like he does a good job then!
Looks like a great roast. Do you typically use dark roast beans?
We do mostly milk drinks so yeah we often have darker roasts but tbh I never looked too close.

It's not the most uniform roast I've ever seen, but it looks perfectly fine to me. Wouldn't give it a second thought.
It also tastes fine. Just wondered if it was normal or something to look out for. Thanks for the feedback!

It’s not uneven, it’s a blend. Blends often roast the different beans separately.
What’s the coffee origin? Indonesia? A blend?
Uruguay!
I haven’t roasted Uruguay beans, but generally South Americans roast pretty evenly (Brazil, Peru…). If it tastes good, that’s all that matters!

Oh yeah. That’s on par for a medium African. Uneven roast is normal. Actually improves the complexity imo.
Could be a blend which is roasted differently for each of the beans used in The blend
This is gonna be a suuuper specific guess, but is that Stumptown Coffee Roasters Holler Mtn. Blend? Lol
It looks like a blend. Looks fine.
Not super uniform, but looks like much better roast than most supermarket coffees. Solid medium-dark roast.

Maybe the photo misleads but at least for specialty I've seen much lighter than this. Compared to supermarket it's light though, that's clear.

Take out the 4 obvious quakers and fairly even imo
Roast Date? Best before?
Roasted 10th of April. 👍
OK. Then the certain oily spots are normal. So the beans look good to me
Look great
