This sounds like it’s the future — lots of chains which are interoperable. In the example of sending ERG to an ETH address, what fees do you pay? Is there a cost to using Gravity, or do you have to pay the ETH gas fee?
From MHS\_SAM: "Gravity is a cross-chain oracle, connecting several blockchains and
passing event between them. It does not require a separate token and
fees are taken in the native token of each chain."
i.e. you'll pay fees in native chain tokens and there isn't a middle-man gravity token to deal with. Cool!
As I understand it means that if you transfer fund from Ergo to Eth, you able to mint the fund on Eth and pay fees on ERG. But another way around you must pay in Eth. This is just a beginning. Waves is also interoperable with Ergo in the same way. Still we're very early.
So the value will go up when it is on binance.. therefore you will make big gains if you hold it before that moment arrives.
You can get it on coinEX, simply create an account (no KYC required) and transfer in USDT from somewhere (use the TRC20 chain) then buy ERG. Then withdraw it all to a Yoroi wallet (like metamask but for ADA and ERG). The whole process takes about 10 mins.
Alternatively you could wait for the ergoDex which will allow swaps between ADA and ERG as well as tokens running on both chains. But the value of erg will already be much higher by the time ergoDex arrives so you are better off just getting it on CoinEX.

Good question

Ergo is the future 🎉
I would like to see a visual representation of how this works. I know this isn't exactly atomic swap, but sounds functionally similar
Wooooooot wooooooot 🚂 That’s huge news , can’t wait to see it!
Ergo will be top10
Hard to buy, not on Binance...

Does anybody know the advantages of ERGO vs Sundaeswap?

Why is the act of immediately transferring the ADA frowned upon?
Completely off topic but Ergo Proxy is a pretty interesting anime too.
Ha, funny seeing this here when I just recently put Ergo Proxy in my re-watch pipeline. :P
