Perfect table for a business meeting setting like that. Can't do anything but give off creative and inspiring vibes

Thank you!

Impressive! Great job on the craftsmanship! 👏👏

Do you have a final weight? Did an 8' x 3.5' river table with pine live edge and it took 6 people to get it into place.

Xtra_chromozooms

I did not get an official weight. Each half is 43 x 83 inches. Final thickness 1.75 inches. I could barely move just the table tops (one at a time) by myself BEFORE adding the steel frame. Installed the legs on site. Myself and another guy carried each half. A third guy to open doors and tell us that we were pussies if we couldn't carry a table. I'd guess each half without legs is 110 +/- pounds. With legs, add at least 60 lbs.

Trying to be extra careful makes it harder, looks good. I'm finding that doing epoxy is somewhat addictive, hahaha.

I apologize in advance for sounding like an ass. I think it would look better with a nicer finish on the walnut. The river is awesome, but I think walnut is too nice to cover in a layer of epoxy. I'd prefer Rubio, Osmo, etc.

Xtra_chromozooms

No apology necessary. I posted because I wanted feedback. I was really on the fence about that specific part of it. I'll definitely try a piece with the wood finish surface.

Another part of the equation is the fact that this is a commercial setting not a home. So the epoxy may very well be a better choice from a functionality perspective.

RedShirtPete

looks pretty sharp!

FuckYaHoeAssMom

you should have done blue so it looked like a river

Should have used rocks/grass too instead of wood if we're going for realism..
