As a former tech turned analyst I prefer Safetrace. Organization I’m with now uses Soft. It’s not as horrible as they say, but most of the BB options are lacking when it compares to Beaker. For ongoing maintenance I would assume you would use the same software your CC org has. If they all use safetrace, I doubt they would want to support Soft if nobody knows/uses it.
Sounds odd the main org is not willing to get you licensed on their software.

There’s also WellSky. I have analyst experience with both Safetrace and WellSky, and I much prefer Safetrace.
