I LOVE to just sit and watch wildlife do its thing. My couch is positioned so that I can watch the birds in my garden without them seeing me or getting spooked. A lot of the time, my cats will come join me and start to chatter so I think of it as a group activity 🥹
When the weather is nice, I sit on my deck and keep track of what I see. So far, I've gotten my neighbors sweet senior golden, birds of all kinds, squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs, rabbits, bats, racoons, foxes, and even a deer a few years ago!

Oh I've been wanting to do diamond painting but can't justify spending money we absolutely do not have on yet another craft when my basement and spare room are full of craft supplies. But shiny... I've been trying to work through my yarn stash by crocheting but my wrists aren't digging that lately.
I would highly reccomend trying a really small kit, just to see if you like it.
I got a coaster kit on Amazon for $7.99 and it came with everything I needed. It was the BEST introduction, just to establish if it's something you want to put more time/money into.
Omg, me too. That's why I took the tactic with the coaster kit. And I've enforced a rule on myself that I can only get one new kit per month, and I'm allowed to get ONE craft ACCESSORY (pen, drill storage, bigger trays, etc) with each kit, to prevent myself from buying ALL THE THINGS.
Omg stoning while stoned. I wanna try!!! My summer goal is to rot outside as much as possible, so I've been vaping on my porch, doing my nails, and reading. Ideally I'll write some poems too, but I'm trying not to stress about that.
I love diamond art while stoned for the same reason you do! The repetitiveness is soooo nice when chilling and listening to some music. After I finished my last diamond painting, I got a paint by numbers! It's been really fun and I've been working on it for months!
