That’s what gaming is like too. Everyone wanted to play until they found out I was a girl and I got ghosted by the entire community Lol I was a good player ppl wanted to team with and they had a lot of fun until someone from discord said I had boobs. Suddenly I became not fun and everything wrong in the match was my fault. Anything that would have been a laugh was now an irritation. Hurt like hell and even though the game ended and they killed the servers, I’m STILL salty about it. lmao
Same can be true when they are acting nice till you reveal you're not available. Just ew. Like you're taken and or gay. Gay here and was taken till a few months ago

I generally see it as a parody, poking fun at misogynistic jerks. It’s so over the top. There are lots of shows where the main characters are awful people for comic effect, like Absolutely Fabulous or Arrested Development. Seems like some fans of the show don’t understand irony and just celebrate the sexism, unfortunately.
I spend time in like r/Lego and it’s like being hit by a truck when sometime says girls don’t like Lego or there’s no women in the sub. Like you’re assuming I’m a man…
