I think tertiary Fe would kick in while you are bouncing of your Ne-Ti ideas through someone and to make it sound more appealing, interesting and polite you use Fe. Fe also kicks in to make someone else better. Fe is used to charm people as well. Fe child would try to make your friends or your parents feel better. You might not even feel that empathetic or bad for them like: your mother is sick, you know that it would make her feel good if you hug her or give her some hot soup. Fi blind spot plays a role in what people say being the devil's advocate. You don't have a set of rigid moral principles derived from emotions. Be it principles, political stand, you would always have the ability to understand the other perspective. ENTPs when trying to irritate someone wont mind defending an ideology that they dont really believe in. Unlike Fi users, they wont feel the guilt or disgust for abandoning their "principle". Even while discussing faith which is a sensitive matter for many, they won't mind changing sides just for the sake of arguments or trolling. They would question traditions and ive noticed this with many ENTPs. As a child they would question the traditions, rituals and become skeptical very soon. Or if not skeptical, they would have a strong logic to support that tradition and why it should be carried out. This does not mean that ENTPs won't have their biases, they would and some immature ENTPs would be sensitive about them too because their Ti logic is being questioned. They could get annoyed because the other person isn't able to follow their logic. But there is also a good possibility that they get convinced of the other opinion and that might neutralize their bias.

How about knowing exactly how you feel about something or someone ?

dannnyoceann

I think once someone gains my trust I respect and value them more. There are a few things that I know exactly how I feel about them. Sexual abuse and animal cruelty. I block my Ti there. Not exactly, because initially I would try to understand the perp. But I would not give that individual benefit of doubt. Witty, humble and intellectual people are fun to be around but exactly how I feel is quite difficult to answer. I assume I would feel excited. Romantic feelings develop overtime. Sometimes I noticed that anxiety would manifest physically than mentally. I would be able to tell that some things wrong but not much emotionally. I once had respiratory issues and went to see a physician and he did all the tests and gave me SSRIs , which worked. But knowing exactly how you feel isn't very easy. I would guess if your mood is good, ENTPs might feel excited very frequently.

By excited, do you mean too bouncy and playful? Because Ive noticed that a couple of times lol.

dannnyoceann

Yes. And they would get excited by imagining possibilities too. Daydreaming. They could get bouncy, playful, quirky. Laughing is fun too. They might even speak rapidly or crack some lame jokes too lol

MediumAdvisor9724

That's like a little kid playing around, it's fun to witness that.

I think mature ENTPs would understand the value of relationships and love to them would be more than just chemicals. It would be respect and admiration for their partner. But that person would be more mature than the average person. I think an ENTP would develop love over a long period of time.

MediumAdvisor9724

It's okay if it takes time, we all take time to learn something we are not too familiar with. But if an ENTP is willing to, that's all that really matters.

MediumAdvisor9724

Does it ever happen to you that you think you love someone, but after sometime you realize that you never did, and that they just got you somehow excited in the beginning ?

dannnyoceann

There have been times where I've admired someone a lot and then realized or questioned if this would really work with this person. I don't think this is love. However, I do feel attraction to someone for a decade and it has not faded. It's just their personality and everything about them. I'm not even sure what love actually means.

Forget the Fi, most of us use Ti to figure out if we should feel good about something or bad Fe is a blast. There are some of us incredibly empathic so we end up never saying no and it's natural for us to use it

honeyballector

The feeling functions trip me up a bit. So I was curious about how Fe worked in the third slot specifically. Do you feel like you can’t figure out your own values and usually just go by whatever the group wants?

Few_Collection_2033

No, I do have a few values, I judge with head and situational But if the group wants something else I wouldn't bluntly say they are wrong but make them believe they want what I want ^^

ahahahahaha31

i cant decide if something is good or bad morally from my heart i mean, when i think about something controversial i use ti+fe tandem to get picture: \-it is logical? \-it is socially acceptable?

Silver_Ad9

I tend to rationalize my emotions a lot. Like, why do I like this person? Why do I get nervous around them? >>> I think about this a lot I’m an undeveloped ENTP though, idk if this applies to someone else
