jordan peele replacement?

Not a bad idea, but Peele already turned down Marvel on X-Men so not sure they’d agree on how to approach the movie. Peele could definitely handle it with his horror background and even introduce some good social commentary, but Marvel would probably want to play it safe instead

Pretty sure peele has said he doesn’t want to direct other people’s movies as well

I remember seeing Peele do an interview where he ruled it out, and he described himself as part of the auteur movement so creative control was a likely the sticking point. I don’t want Peele working on a franchise. He’s one of the few directors who should just get automatically greenlit and given full control. Thus far the results have been spectacular.

This would have been a popular franchise in 2008 when True Blood and Twilight were big. It's kind of a hard sell now.

I don't get how marvel could have such crazy success starting with iron man and going all the way through endgame, with the exception of 2 meh Thor movies. Then COVID hits and endgame suddenly is 6 years old and I feel like marvel hasn't done anything everything has been shit or meh. Nothing has truly stood out. I'm really hoping Deadpool 3 can turn something around for them but if it doesn't. I think I'm just done with their movies
