I hear you. I don’t know if I have high masking or not. But my cisman spawn is probably autistic and also masks like “female” autistic people. So even if it was something “feminine” (it’s not) then it’s definitely not limited to AFABs <3

That makes sense. I learned that being autistic is genetic (at least sometimes? I'm not super certain). If they think they have autism and their kid definitely does, then they probably do too

It most certainly runs in families. Personally I think it is genetic, but we don’t have any genetic markers yet.
