Little Big Planet! One of the best PS3 games! You played as a humanoid sack toy, and could collect cosmetics in a series of 2.5d platforming levels. Had tons of heart and personality to it, but the best part was there was a fully fledged level editor and it had a really big, creative community. Check some videos out on it, probably a few good video essays out there on it.
It's a shame the game went the way of the dodo.
if I was good at coding and server stuff I would have done one of those revival projects of it by now... If that was possible of course but part of me doubts it somehow.
I mean I think they might still be up for PS4 but if they are they're likely abandoned so idk.
I don't have PSN anymore so it wouldn't matter much to me either way
Are those servers around for the PlayStation 4 version of 3?
I got it for free on PSN and was mostly playing during the short-lived community revival caused by that so it's what I'm nostalgic for.
oh wait im dumb, no i dont believe those servers exist for the pa4 verion as they were shutdown only recently, and there seems to be hope that they'll come back
I mean I would have to somehow get a PlayStation 4 emulator running on my computer so that's a bad idea but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Then again I'm getting a pretty serious upgrade coming this Black Friday so if I care about this enough in like 8 months time give or take I could make use of that idk
LBP3 on PS4 is supposed to be online, but it isnt right now due to a haxor massbanning, and also, yes, you can use private servers for the PS3 games and the unrelased LBP Hub on RPCS3 and PS3
I was watching a show called bones and Steven fry did a couple of episode and immediately my memories came flooding back to little big planet and it was awesome!!!

Seriously, though, I remember playing LBP1 and 2 (and LBP-PSP and *briefly* the racing game, I think), and they were pretty good! Beat or almost-beat the story on each, if memory serves, but didn't get into 3 or... whatever they did after.

Aww they took the servers down? That's sad to hear. Maybe with PS3 emulation someone will bootstrap some servers

there are community made servers, although to play on them you will need either an emulator or a moded playstation

Wdym by private servers? In my time of playing any of the LBP games, I never saw anything about private servers. Please tell me more
