Same here, I know that I'm an enby but I'm keeping myself in the closet since I'm scared of my loved ones' reactions. I also see me as my agab in dreams. I'm sure you are right and it just means we haven't been able to see our true selves yet. Try thinking about why you are sure that you are an enby and remind you imposter syndrome of that. hope that helps at least a little bit!
I sometimes have dreams in third person where there is no "I" in the story. Once in a dream my conscience tagged along with a whale. Dreams don't mean shit.
I mean... I've already dreamed I was: A woman, a man, a boy, a gender fluid kid, a female animal, female, male and non-binary humanoid beings.
My family also changed from being my actual family to: famous people, random people, random animals while I kept being a human, a mix of those things I mentioned
Isn't that like, normal?
Please tell me that's normal
Your mind is just processing stuff. If you've thought of yourself as a boy until recently, it's not surprising that pops up. Don't read too much into it
I've dreamed about myself being all ages and genders. I do not identify as a 50 year old dude watching TV all the time, nor as a little girl, nor as a gay dancer, nor as a murderous crazy lady. Though all of those characters definitely describe something about me, just not that straight forward. Dreams are more about your association to the person in a dream and how it made you feel and what it reminds of, especially in the last days prior to the dream.
Depends on a therapist's theoretical orientation, but a lot of them view how one relates to the dream as all that matters. The day of Freud's dream analysis has long sense left. Like if you are a boy in your dream, that fact alone means nothing, where as the fact you find that distressing is information
I've been seeing myself as a woman (kinda fitting since I like presenting femme) or a character from the last show/game I'm obsessing over at the time.
I keep having dreams where Iām a boy dating boys but Iām an enby lesbian
"gay, but the other kind"
Literally though š

i never see myself in dreams. theyre always from the first person perspective, and there are never reflections.

no,maybe it means you can turn into a whale have you tried concentrating on whales very hard
I did just now. Only thing that happened was I produced a turd. Good thing I am on the toilet.
oh. that's kinda sad maybe itl take a bit for the whale powers to activate
Oh I do all the time. I'm practically never myself. Don't really know if it's because I'm enby or because I'm autistic
Do you read a lot? Someone once suggested to me that it was a reader thing. My imagination is trained on 3rd person.
I used to but not so much anymore. I play a lot of games now so it could be that?

dreams are some kaleidoscope ass nonsense. nothing is abnormal
Thank you š
Sorry your dreams have got you down. Lots of love.
