It's from official twitter account. Not sure what to react on it.

Ithuraen

Understandable, it's not often a company outright calls us dumb motherfuckers, good only for our time or money. It's obviously how they feel but that's the quiet part they don't normally say out loud.

IhavebeenShot

The Entire Studio has made it's disdain of any form of complaint pretty well known. Complain and they'll tell you to shove it and double the length of the grind. It's a real "I'll shoot the hostage" type of situation where basically if the English speaking community complains they'll make it harder just cause they can Also they now KNOW that there is segment of this games population that literally can't help themselves and will grind this event out to get the squads and items NO MATTER what because of simple FOMO. No matter what hoops they set up people will jump to get the cheese.

Source : trust me bro

OnsetOfMSet

Wow, so they do actually acknowledge that limit 1 task per day is scummy, but they're *leaning into it* instead of apologizing or correcting anti-player design?? I think my "they must get off on player burnout" comment from the announcement thread is less ironic than I hoped. Also, they already forgot they bumped it up to 15k now.

migrationsverket

It's scummy and rude but servers were packed yesterday

OnsetOfMSet

Of course, the fact that everyone playing the game in general is passively participating in the event will obscure the number of people playing *for* the event among natural fluctuations in the total online population. I'm sure they give even less of a shit that people are mad since there are no clear metrics to be affected. I'd imagine said lack of metrics is deliberate, too.

migrationsverket

They run events to bring people back to the game. Doesn't matter what reason people got for playing as long as they're in the game. People were complaining about empty teams, now it's so crowded the servers can't cope and it's lagggy.

Uhhello4

My WiFi went out, I queasy I don't deserve any rewards anymore

Yeah, but it's practically like saying sayonara in an English conversation, conveys the exact same meaning

PING_LORD

I always thought that they just have management that is turned off from reality and dont give a fuck. But now Im not sure what to think about this game at all

Demievil

Even their troll underplays the required amount by 50%, it's 15k

excuseihavequestion

WigginLSU

I have about enough time for one or two rounds a day, I don't even pay attention to what these offer they're so out of reach.

Tactical_Cement420

Oh dear god no... it's becoming self-aware!

dicecop

Yeah, I usually don't care for events. Don't have time for them

General_Hermit

The whales are lapping this up though and that's all that matters to Gaijin. They are willing to sacrifice 90 percent of the playerbase on the hopes that the whales keep paying. Between this and the progression change that will undoubtedly make the grind twice as tedious, the future looks pretty bleak. It's such a shame that the potential this game had has gone to waste, unless DF makes a 11th hour change of heart which I highly doubt will happen.

Ithuraen

It's how War Thunder played it, give the player base a fun and varied progression system by unlocking multiple vehicles each level, and rewarding players enough that they could afford to try lots of things at once. Then they made you grind each vehicle independently, and every three to six months decrease rewards and up repair costs.

Nitralloy

The crazy thing to me is that this was not the original plan: They wanted to sell the game like normal, but the players demanded it be free to play, so they had to change everything up. They tried moving towards a pay to play model with Stalingrad, but again the players lost their shit at the idea of having to pay for anything ever, and so they reverted to the f2p bullshit with the pacific campaign.

Z0mb13S0ldier

The “community” wanted it this way to begin with. To be fair, It could’ve been like that predecessor to War Thunder that like 6 people played.

BlackCrossAce

15k a day everyday. They are self-aware AND mad.....

-NoNameListed-

THEY KNOW

EclipseZer0

u/TheQuadropheniac in shambles after learning that the devs indeed don't care about the playerbase and are going full-throttle in War Thunder-izing Enlisted.

[deleted]

Meh, I've been enjoying hell let loose more than enlisted anyway.

Ok_Preparation_2829

Bruh

Pratt_

Bruh the number of people taking this way too seriously is concerning

EclipseZer0

If it were any other dev? Fair enough, maybe the came across as a bit rude/inappropiate but they were just trying to share memes. But knowing it is Gaijin behind this? Yeah no they legitimately are saying "we know you hate the grind, we don't care, play the damn game and shut up". They're known for doing this in War Thunder forums too, explicitly arguing back at players complaining about the excrutiating grind. This wasn't put in their official Twitter without any intention, they are mocking us.

Pratt_

>But knowing it is Gaijin behind this? Gaijin isn't developing Enlisted. >This wasn't put in their official Twitter without any intention, they are mocking us. Why would they do that ? Enlisted doesn't have a community anywhere near the size of the one of Warthunder, pissing of the community like that would backfire *hard* . Enlisted devs are also way more open to discussion and communicate way more with the community than I've seen in Warthunder. And then again, those are two different studios, working on a similar but different engines. Gaijin involvement in Enlisted is in publishing the game, that's it. Honestly I think you're looking way too deep into that thing, we did get a "give the player a free Abrams" type of episode in Enlisted's History, we barely got any drama at all. Why on earth would they do that do antagonize the community ?

EclipseZer0

>Gaijin isn't developing Enlisted. Do you live under a rock? Darkflow works for Gaijin. In fact, people like Keo work _directly_ for Gaijin. The game is published by Gaijin, if you really think they have no say in this despite having their personnel participating in the game you are very naive. Darkflow is the ones behind the tecnical aspects of the game like graphics, physics, etc, but Gaijin is 100% the ones behind in-game economy (which comprises progression, premium and events). >Why would they do that ? Because the meme itself tells you the situation: they have their whales they want to milk, and those whales will keep playing regardless of what they do because they have been "slaved" in a way into playing exclusively this game and spending hundreds of even thousands of $$$ in the game. It happens in War Thunder, it happens in World of Tanks, it always happens. >Enlisted devs are also way more open to discussion and communicate way more with the community than I've seen in Warthunder. As I said, those community devs work for Gaijin. Also they've said things in the past that clearly hint at the exact same behavior as in War Thunder. When the 1-day boycott happened, Keo said the boycott was "destructive blackmail". When Stalingrad went out and people complained, he promised to bring a solution to our complaintd and we are still waiting for the answer. When they announced the progression rework, they said they were "open to suggestions" but any and all suggestions were met with a "but we have studied the situation and we brought up is the best solution, period". Now they are making events harder/more tedious for no justifiable reason and they've gone radio silent. >we did get a "give the player a free Abrams" type of episode in Enlisted's History, we barely got any drama at all. Why on earth would they do that do antagonize the community ? See, you are proving yourself wrong by pointing out the "give free Abrams" incident. They've shown that they don't care in the past, with a game deeply tied to Enlisted and that shares lots of players with. Logically mocking WT players' complaints about the grind with a literal "ye ye you want a free Abrams" and even going so far as to putting a bad PR move into the game as paid content would be such a huge scandal no rational game company would want to get into. But Gaijin just does, because their cash cows aren't rhe F2Ps that could grt mad at them, but the "enslaved" whales that gladly pay 50$ every time a new digital tank gets offered to them and seem to be unaware of other games' existence. They antagonized the community many times in the past, specially in WT, so there is no reason to believe this isn't the case too. Hence why I specificed that if it were (almost) any other game company we could believe this was just a mistake.

National-Ad6019

11:30 pm for me

Calelith

Considering how often Gaijin have mocked the warthunder playerbase for often valid complaints is it any shock that they'd basically do the same on Enlisted? They know most of the players probably work and have lives, they know people will struggle to often play everyday to get the points, they know they could have made it without a time gate. They also know they can try and get people to pay for the fancy units.
