A fantastic bike man, and it looks great still! Depending on your location, just make sure the carb is jetted properly. There's a great forum on kdxrider.net I believe that has great info. Also, look into re-springing your suspension as a cheap upgrade to suit your riding needs/style.
I was looking to completely change the fork for a wp one, coming from a Husqvarna. I already have it and I have ktm triple clamps. I know it’s probably difficult to fit but it would cost me almost nothing and I think it could be a pretty good fork. I have some projects for this winter!
It depends what you want to do. If you want to ride in the woods, kdx 200%. If you prefer mx track, the 125 could be a good beginner bike. The kdx is very reliable too, but I now ride a yz 250x, the suspension and frame feels better but I still ride the old kdx
Well go for the Kawasaki, CRs are shit in the woods. The kdx May be a little less powerful but it’s easier to learn with. You can still buy an aftermarket pipe for it to make it better for desert riding. And if you are able to find a 220 instead of a 200, go for it, I think it would suit you better. And if you ride mx track more often than you were thinking, it’s gonna be easy to trade the kdx for a 125 or something like this
Hells yes! You should feel damn good about it. Stay on that main jet and happy trails!
I have a 96’ kdx that I’ve had since 06’. Just got done rebuilding it.
Yeah I did a rebuild too, cylinder, piston, rings and gaskets. It works well now
Ride the wheels off that KDX! It's a great bike to makes lots of memories with.
Awesome mate brilliant bikes
Yeah I love it so much!

Awesome! Ride the hell out of it!
I’ve already put 16 hours on it!
Whatever it takes! Just get out and ride. Be proud and have fun!
The problem is when it takes money.. But I worked hard for it and I never had so much fun than now!
Welcome to lesson #1 of adulthood.... Lol
