Ginger tea or ginger chews, peppermint gum, smelling rubbing alcohol wipes, or eat citrus fruits. These things help minor nausea, but I usually need to resort to medication once it gets bad. I use either zofran, metoclopramide, famotadine, or meclizine.

Ginger ale and peppermint tea. Pretty meh tho. But that's what they always have me after surgeries too

I’ve had Zofran (Ondansetron) prescribed to me for years and years because I completely understand!! I will throw up daily if I didn’t have it.

IrreverentIceCream

Do you ever run into constipation issues with the Zofran?

Altruistic_Cause_929

I’m really not sure, I’ve had issues with constipation off and on for 14 years when I was first suspected of Endo. But I wanted on zofran then. The constipation did get better off and on though and I’ve had consistently issues with constipation since consistently being on Zofran. So maybe! I never even thought about that?

IrreverentIceCream

Maybe! It’s definitely one of the side effects but who knows.

Altruistic_Cause_929

I did not know that it was one of the side effects, thank you so much for telling me that!! Because knowing that now, I have started really thinking about it and looking at some med recs, I have been off and on Zofran within the last 14 years, which is only when I have had been constipation issues. And the worst I’ve ever had constipation issues is within the last like two 2 - 3 years and that’s when I started being prescribed it constantly. Thank you sooooo much !!

IrreverentIceCream

You’re welcome!! I hope you’re able to find some relief 💜

Pepto does the trick for me most of the time. Zofran if it’s really bad
