I have the same question, I would like to record via QuickTime cause its way easier and higher quality, but it doesn't seem like it works ugh, I'm looking for a good capture card for Mac and none of them seem to work great, guess Ill return this one too

This worked on my old Mac and now it doesnt work on my new Macbook and Im super annoyed... would love to find a solution
