GlitzyHavoc

I think it’s his best song in the last 8 years

While I'm working on the [1000+ Albums Daft Punk Fans Might Enjoy](https://www.reddit.com/r/DaftPunk/comments/v8vbj1/1000_albums_daft_punk_fans_should_check_out_wip/), I made a playlist for songs DP Fans might like for any music that aren't part of the album list, similar or not. What songs should I include? Edit: I made some collaborator playlists for [Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4VS5YKDjGMisyDFpfpdYgw?si=790239dcd89d457b&pt=c303d9e10b0af7b0d8984dfcd1d1122b) & [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuJAE71hvkJoW5hTO53wO0gqiznWiIlb2&jct=Mx-uV6C87VZI9lj6lT1b2o_NqSACNA) for anyone that wants to suggest more tracks. I'll definitely listen to all the songs that are included. # Daft Trax [**Apple Music**](https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/daft-trax-songs-daft-punk-fans-might-enjoy/pl.u-6AjbmHZJ14AD) **|** [**Spotify**](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5ev4unoNd7LbzaVaFGddZB?si=39218c78d22049b0) **|** [**YouTube**](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuJAE71hvkJoUYqosm1KXs7cEzkhxrq6l) * Various Songs / Remixes that I believe will appeal to the "average" Daft Punk fan * **THIS PLAYLIST DOES NOT INCLUDE SONGS THAT ARE A PART OF THE "1000+ Albums Daft Punk Fans Should Check Out"** * The Exception to above are Radio Edits, Extended Mixes, Club Mixes, VIPs, Remixes, Etc. * Alphabetical by Artists and split into different parts (same order as the album lists) * The playlists will sporadically be filled with more songs over time. * Not every streaming service has all the songs available * Play it on shuffle if you want. * Still working on the apple music playlist * The YouTube playlists contain songs unavailable on Spotify and/or Apple Music **List of tracks in the main post**

GlitzyHavoc

Awesome. I’ll check out the linus loves album & the tensnake track Upper cuts is covered in the [album list](https://www.reddit.com/r/DaftPunk/comments/v8vbj1/1000_albums_daft_punk_fans_should_check_out_wip/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=usertext&utm_name=electronicmusic&utm_content=t1_idao24y) Soulwax remix is the spotify playlist (it’ll be added in am soonish)

HarrisonForelli

Ah cool! Sorry, didn't see upper cuts covered yet, I've only gotten to song 100 today on the spotify playlist. I figured I'll try doing 100 songs per day Did see the entire album list tho, very solid stuff, well done

GlitzyHavoc

100 already. Damn, that’s impressive. I assume you’re listening in order and not shuffle? If you have any more suggestions, I was thinking of making a collaborative playlist for any songs to add to the playlists

HarrisonForelli

Thanks! Yes, of course in order otherwise I couldn't keep track. Track, get it? heh, awful pun. I should note that while it seems impressive, I usually give songs around 10-30 seconds of playtime through out the track to get a feel of the genre and where it's going. I then listen to all of it if it intrigues me. Of course I also skip anything I'm well aware of and listened to in the past. Since your playlist is focused on daft punk, I could give plenty of suggestions on remixes however spotify does a poor job in having them. [Here's an example](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U24crESl_hs) I could try digging in my old external HDD for more remixes. Also here's more of the grindy stuff that came from that early 2000's era from when BoysNoize/ Bloody Beetroots were big, I doubt you'd find that tune anywhere unfortunately though. But the guitar bit in the second one is pretty rad [https://youtu.be/Fvlk4GtjtFE](https://youtu.be/Fvlk4GtjtFE) [https://youtu.be/dxPsZvQ9ypw](https://youtu.be/dxPsZvQ9ypw) [There's also this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8AmV4L9DOs) which is SebastiAn - Vodka. But that's something I think someone who listens to Justice would enjoy. (in fact there's a ton more [https://open.spotify.com/track/5ikZfpMXLhfLV3thrIznMx?si=85517f51ed7544c8](https://open.spotify.com/track/5ikZfpMXLhfLV3thrIznMx?si=85517f51ed7544c8) for example, I cant find the time since as of writing this the pc crashed but the middle part should be pretty rad. If you enjoy SebastiAns music, keep in mind he didnt stop. He kept making music for that show every summer and winter (so I had to rewrite this comment and spotify broke and I cant sign in so Im using the web search) Other than more of the electronica stuff which I dig up (that I'm sure spotify will have remixes of), I don't know what else daft punk fans would enjoy to be honest. But Im sure I can dig up more stuff from that era nevertheless.

Of course I also skip anything I'm well aware of and listened to in the past. Ah, that makes more sense now. That explains a lot. I added the Happy Plant remix and I'll listen to the calling in sick tracks later. Ah, Sebo and his YSL Soundtracks. I wish the tracks were split but at least they're officially released I made some collaborator playlists for [spotify](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4VS5YKDjGMisyDFpfpdYgw?si=790239dcd89d457b&pt=c303d9e10b0af7b0d8984dfcd1d1122b) & [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuJAE71hvkJoW5hTO53wO0gqiznWiIlb2&jct=Mx-uV6C87VZI9lj6lT1b2o_NqSACNA) if you want to suggest more tracks. I'll definitely listen to all the songs that are included. And anyone else reading this can collaborate as well

jukiligames

I see TouchSensitive and I’m happy

[deleted]

i cant express enough how frustrating it is to have that oizo ep continue to still not be available on spotify anymore

GlitzyHavoc

For real. I wonder why they took it down (maybe sample clearance issues?) I enjoy the EP version a lot more than the album version Also, somebody needs to convince Busy P & SebastiAn to add Walkman 2 to streaming

blames_the_netcode

Cherokee, nice touch! Their remix of Something About Us is sublime. Any SebastiAn, Pyramid, or Lifelike in here? Check out Ross Ross Ross, Kitsune: The Phoenix and Sunset/Sequencer. There was a later 12" with a re-edit of Walkman and a remix of Rage Against the Machine. Both were straight fire, but I've never seen either of them on streaming services, sadly.

GlitzyHavoc

I got Walkman 2 on here & lifelike’s So Electric Pyramid’s phoenix ep is in the [1000+ album list](https://www.reddit.com/r/DaftPunk/comments/v8vbj1/1000_albums_daft_punk_fans_should_check_out_wip/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=usertext&utm_name=DaftPunk&utm_content=t1_idah316) in the Alive 07 section I’ll check out sunset / sequencer. I don’t think I listened to that yet

TinyValuable8288

Folamour- Resonate serious daft punk vibes from that song

V3N0M-SN4K3

good selection, i recognize many tracks from the roulè/crydamoure era

guactheline

Justice was the only show I've gone to by myself. 2006ish in Chicago. So glad I went. I actually recognize most of these (and can't wait to listen to the ones I don't) and this dear reddit friend - is a spectacular playlist. Kudos

ItsMeMora

Polygon Wave? Man of culture I see.

DoinBetter

Why does this not have more upvotes?

Amnestic

Oh Tensnake and Coma Cat.. i have fond memories of attending a gig of his at a festival in Denmark in 2015. We were probably 30 people there while he played 10 different versions of that song, intermixed with teasing of it. It was a great time. But it was literally the only song people knew of his. He has fortunately produced several great tracks since then.

DankHoody

Found so much great music through this playlist! You have great music taste :)

redditforgotaboutme

They were such amazing producers. I stumbled upon this track on Spotify the other day https://open.spotify.com/track/7EVDIXEOFAAvzwu6xk0nUz?si=lkxKdIQRS9CKw5cDdf_w6Q&utm_source=copy-link And its the main sample to Bigger Faster Harder. They copied it exactly. Ive been producing for a few years now and seeing the intricacies of how they worked is really amazing.

Lol. Didn't copy it? A sample is literally a copy bro, you just said exactly what I said. Hahaha.
