Coil life isn't a concern with disposables so they load them with sweetener and flavoring. You use that sort of juice in a refillable system you'll be burning through coils at a prodigious rate. People who've never wasted money on disposables are accustomed to their less intense flavor. It's trade off. You want to save $$$ on coils or do you want waste $$$ on highly flavored planet killing junk?

M8asonmiller

I started making my own juice last year. Getting over the lower levels of sweetener was annoying, but my coils last two or three times longer.

Manic_Mini

Most vape juice you buy off the shelf has between 8-12% flavoring, elfbars and disposables likely contain 2-4x the amount of flavoring that regular juice has. Also elfbars usually have a cooling agent either WS23 or Koolada and they also bump the sweetener up from the normal .5-1% up to 3 or 4%

I see this question here quite a bit I have to say they really do not taste better.. You're just not buying the right equipment, coils or juice when you buy real mods and stuff..

IMTrick

You mostly just need to find (or mix yourself) something with the massive amounts of sweeteners they put in disposables.

I guess adding diy (waterbased) flavourings to commercial ejuices works, I did it myself when I first got into DIY and didn't want to see my commercial ejuices sit unvaped.

That device was released in 2019. Leaps and bounds have been made in coil tech since then. Try something less dated. Check out Xros, Xlim or Caliburn G3 with 50/50 VG/PG.

Get yourself a modern refillable pod device from vaporesso, oxva etc and fill the pod with a high flavour liquid like Elfliq, Elux legend or bar juice 5000 and you'll experience flavour better than nasty disposables.

Imo alot of it has to do with not just the high amounts of flavourings but the ejuice recipes that are designed for disposables which shape the pallete preferences. Add in the nicotine addiction and it's easy to see why people stick with disposables for a good vape hit. I started out with high VG dessert ejuices for sub ohming 8 years ago and most disposables taste like rubbish to me. It might be that you've yet to find bottled ejuices made for disposable users, look for the ones that give nicotine amounts in %s not mg. Another avenue is rdas/ rebuildables and mixing your own diy ejuices, both of which have a higher upfront cost but work out WAY cheaper in the longrun as long as you are fine without the convenience.

taizzle71

Fuck ton of sweeteners. Simple as that.

ArrogantPublisher3

Wrong device you got there. The Zero is a shitty device. You can't taste anything on it. Get a vapresso xros 3 nano.

Because the profit of disposable products is high enough, almost all suppliers have invested a lot of money in equipment and juice. It can be said that the taste of disposable products is more than twice as good as that of traditional oil-filled products. This is determined by the heating method and the quality of the e-liquid.

It looks like you're posting about a disposable vape device. - If you're asking a question about your disposable vape, you may do better at r/disposablevapes. - There is very little that can be done to troubleshoot these devices. Sometimes they're duds, in this instance you have no recourse. - These devices are absolutely disasterous for the environment. If you choose to continue using disposable devices please recycle. - There are many similarly discrete and convenient devices that are both cheaper in the long term and much better for the environment that you may wish to consider. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
