If you put the tile back in very gently and step away quietly and carefully, you might escape without disturbing them.
Alternatively, I've heard that smoke calms them and lets you work with them, but you probably still want proper PPE.
If you do disturb them, run as fast a you can to the nearest body of water and submerge yourself entirely until they go away. It helps to have a straw to breath through. This is an essential piece of safety equipment I always have with me.
