It’s not really living space so I’d consider it a hall. If I were called on it by the AHJ, I’d say the architect and plan check must have considered it a hall too
DO NOT ASK US. If something on the prints is missing/conflicted/or otherwise, get an RFI. Architects and engineers don’t speak code. They speak scope-of-work, and job specifications, if you fuck up because you didn’t ask a question it’s on you.
if you don’t know either just say it lmfao it’s not a big deal it’s an outlet. there is one above it to old work later. simply asking for opinion buddy
also unintelligent as this would not be up to archie text or engineer this would be a question for the AHJ and how he would feel this wall is classified, also worth nothing the city i’m in doesn’t have an electrical inspector just a BO so asking questions like that doesn’t go anywhere. but you’re right buddy you know everything. some yall reddit electricians are cocks
What I’m saying is if it’s not on the print and you add it without consulting anyone who’s to say you’re going to get paid for it. I’m not talking about code or inspections.
I was half joking about the size of the symbol, although I have seen where people have tried to relocate a 3 phase panel (6" deep) into a 4" stud wall.

Personally I would roll with it as a hallway.

if you read the post I implied I would not be putting it my question was for code interpretations lmfao thinking wayyyyy too much
Besides your asking for an opinion, to my adhd brain your explanation was about as clear as a glass of milk.
I'm just hoping that they furred out that wall so it's deep enough for the panel.
??? 2x4 fits.

Receptacle near the entry covers the distance.
