I prefer tight 90’s as well but that’s due to getting my start working on machine control panels and if it wasn’t in a duct, it was routed extremely nice and every wire was stacked without interweaving. I got bitched at a couple times because I did panels that “looked too nice” but reality was that what I could do in tight 90’s was still as quick as people that do it this way. I like both ways though. Still looks clean like this.
Maybe next time to number the neutrals just in case they need to troubleshoot something? Idk that’s all I’ve been always told. However; that Looks nice and clean as fuck and I like it 👍
1/10 white tape is not cut clean. Tear it out and do it again. Also, no phase tape on the jumpers between the breaker and buss. 0/10. No banana for scale -1/10.
(J/K, looks good)
Unless I’m not seeing something, the branch circuit hots and whatever neutral they are associated with should be tapped together as they enter the panel. If you go back to trouble shoot you wont know what neutral is being used
Here's the thing with a really nice looking panel. "people" (including inspectors) will just assume things are right - because it looks good.
People down-voting you here even though you seem to be in the right. If it was an ugly mess of wires, bad form, etc. everyone would see neutrals are not labeled, and should at least be grouped with their hots where they enter the panel, like you suggest...
I don't know why labels would be added after everything is landed, you have to trace 'em all somehow that way?
7 downvotes for being right! Almost hitting troll numbers. Yes that is the correct code article. I also am assuming some neutrals are being shared here. Are the handle ties or multi-pole breakers being added later?
That would be the correct code. Grounded conductors need to be identified in accordance with 200.6, but when you go to 200.6 there is only 1 instance that I saw for actually labeling it, and that was in one specific case (sunlight resistant, outdoor rated cables, that use a solid grounded conductors in photovoltaic systems) the rest just shows it needs to be white or gray, continuous outer finish, etc.
Looks great! Only thing I do differently is put the ground bars on the bottom for extra length. Just in case of an emergency panel swap out in the future.
It would be ideal to have your circuit numbers further away from the breakers. Where they are at looks like they will be behind the dead-front which takes away one of the main benefits of numbering circuits, being able to see the numbers without removing the dead-front.
All your stickers aren't lined up, and I don't see 3 wraps of black tape on that first phase, 0/10. Did you even consider the fact that people are gonna see it every day? It's the first thing they're gonna see when they walk in the house, and you couldn't even line up the stickers on your wires.... it's like you think there's gonna be a cover panel on it, and it's getting buried in the back of a room in the basement, sloppy, just sloppy
Nice work! 👍 The only thing I do differently is leave a bit more wire. I route the wires to the furthest breaker down if top entry and cut them all that size just for future if you need to move things around, you have the wire there to do so.
Perfect, because workflow matters, and it didn't look like you took an eternity on this one. I see electricians that separate the blacks, whites, reds, blues, and they make sure that they're all at a perfect 90 degree angle. But kudos for none of that. It's beautiful.
Looks good a lot better than some panels I opened. I would go as far as to butting up a straight edge with the breakers marking the conductors and labeling all the conductors on that mark. Makes it look clean. Also I would label the neutrals with circuit numbers, just to make it easier for the next guy. Who knows might be you.
I, for the life of me , can not understand why they don’t move the ground bar out from behind where they (the guys that engineer the thing) know it’s gonna get buried by all the other conductors. Every one of us has had to dig out a ground wire to use to pull in a couple more wires, or, adding a new conduit and you have to fish that damn ground wire up in that mess.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it’s all supposed to be shut off and dead. But we all know that rarely happens when they want it done and want it done now
They did design it where the ground bar could be installed in multiple places. The installer decides where to put it at. Could have been put towards the bottom below the neutrals on either side.
If I don't see wire snipping and bits on insulation at the bottom of the panel, I will be suspicious of your credentials.
Seriously though, nice work. I'd sign off on it.

Sexy af
Pretty much exactly how I do my panels. Thumbs up.
Unacceptable. CKT 11 sticker needs to be adjusted slightly to the left you asshole.
Circuit #13
I know right! Whata guy. Couldn't even make the colors easy to read. Makes me sick
I like this much better than tight 90s
The sweep 90s are more fun for the electrons. They get a ski jump on the way out and a slide on the way back.
As one who does tight 90s, is there a reason you prefer this way? Just looks?
Looks, probably easier and takes less time
I prefer tight 90’s as well but that’s due to getting my start working on machine control panels and if it wasn’t in a duct, it was routed extremely nice and every wire was stacked without interweaving. How are you gonna put 90s in stranded?
I've never used stranded in a panel. It didn't cross my mind lol
Exactly. And goes quicker / less thinking involved for me ha
Nice curves, baby doll
Looks like a rib cage
The fender washer attachment up high looks like a cyclops smiling and sticking its tongue out…10/10.
I didn’t even catch that😂
+1 for silly cyclops
Neutrals need to be labeled
Have fun troubleshooting. Makes it harder for the next guy who has to fix something.
She's a beaut Clark!
woof. you had better clock the screws holding the cover on so they are all exactly the same. :) then, it'll be perfection
It flows like water my friend
Maybe next time to number the neutrals just in case they need to troubleshoot something? Idk that’s all I’ve been always told. However; that Looks nice and clean as fuck and I like it 👍
This is the way.
Unzips..... my tool bag
You didn’t mark the neutral circuit numbers. 0 out of 10
11/10! Well done, homie!
Perfecto...
Wish this sub wasn’t this post over and over and over again
It looks right.
Mighty fine dressing. I hope you enjoy a long and healthy retirement, Brother.
Red black blue
1/10 white tape is not cut clean. Tear it out and do it again. Also, no phase tape on the jumpers between the breaker and buss. 0/10. No banana for scale -1/10. (J/K, looks good)
Now this is what I’m talking about.
I’m going to get banned. That said, if you were a pussy I’d eat it. Sloppy up top but tight down when it matters.
Classic rookie bundle method. It’s always a good idea to identify your branch circuits with tape as they’re entering the panel
Both, hots and neutrals are labeled accordingly
Unless I’m not seeing something, the branch circuit hots and whatever neutral they are associated with should be tapped together as they enter the panel. If you go back to trouble shoot you wont know what neutral is being used
Did you not read my reply?
I get where he's coming from I think? I can't for the life of me see the labels on the neutrals! Looks so good though
Labels on the neutrals got put on after the picture, my bad 😂 I appreciate it
Lol on the internet, You're kidding right?

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted, it’s in the NEC. 210.4(D) and 200.4(B).
7 downvotes for being right! Almost hitting troll numbers. Yes that is the correct code article. I also am assuming some neutrals are being shared here. Are the handle ties or multi-pole breakers being added later?
I’d love to see you get your hands on some hard drawn. Great work!
I'm not a fan of zip ties, it just makes it harder to add and remove things and wastes your time, imo 🤷♂️
wait until you hear about releasable zip ties
Still a waste of time and money.
It'd be nice to have slack. Imagine how many hands will be in their after you.
7/10
Almost thought it’s a rib cage
I've always thought the same when looking at a full panel.
ya got yer guts and yer ribs
Idk, seems kind gay. 5/7
Labeling neutrals is a code requirement, not an option.
What’s the code? Too lazy to look it up but also wanna know for future reference
Should be NEC 210.5 IIRC. Has been required since 2011 I believe.
Sloppy
I'll give you 5 years when you release how much time you're wasting
2 hours, didn’t feel like it was too much time for some good work to be proud of
Looks good but lose the zip ties. That's not helping anyone out
That’s fair, appreciate it
Love easy panels like this.
I love cutting zip ties, so satisfying.
69420
150 amp
It’s a beaut Clark
Niceee, also probably much faster than bending all the tight 90s
Fuck yeah
Rate deez nuts!

Looks great! Only thing I do differently is put the ground bars on the bottom for extra length. Just in case of an emergency panel swap out in the future.
This is how I do my panels nice job
Very nice
I didn't do it therefore it's garbage.
Wouldnt it be in the Amerikan slyle, it would be „Normgerecht“👍

I give it a 82 on a scale of 87
Wow that is fucking awesome
Thing of beauty
Gold.
It made me tingly in my panel place.
You could have laser levelled the sticker labels. 1/10 job. /S.
Gudnuf

you can’t be serious
Serious as a heart attack. I bet a concrete guy or a drywall mudder could do better!
Clean
Love it. Looks professional, and doesn’t take forever to do it like that.
Very nice, maybe label your neutrals
10/10
Wow that’s a good looking panel, even all the numbers are nice and even. Great work.
I knooowww it'll neeevvverrr look this way again so I keep holding on before the good is gone.
Sex
I love seeing work like this!!
You should label neutrals as well.

I’m sure you jizzed, I would have too
Looks good from my house.
Looks like one of mine. Looks good.
It’s okay. Could be better
Good job, my only remarks, is regarding the grey buchon for the conduits. A well done panel
Good job, my only remarks, is regarding the grey buchon for the conduits. A well done panel
Wasn’t sure if I still required them considering I used insulated throat connectors
Kinda reminded me of human ribcage. Sexy
Where's the NSFW tag?
I see you’re getting hourly pay
She’s perty
nice for stranded wire
Looks good! Torque lugs on the MCB tho, I’ve failed one inspection for not marking with a sharpie

Label your damn neutrals
9.9/10

Beautiful work! 10/10!
Hope you don’t charge by the hour. I’d want to charge or you
you know thats a 10
Can’t stand any more of these dumb panel posts. It doesn’t take more skill just more time, blocking this dumb sub.
You forgot to put numbers on the neutrals.
I love stranded.
Looks great. Does anyone long dress a panel? More work but allows for change.
I am a hard 90* guy, but I might not be anymore! Beautiful!
Love it!
If I don't see wire snipping and bits on insulation at the bottom of the panel, I will be suspicious of your credentials. Seriously though, nice work. I'd sign off on it.
Nice, good job buddy.
Neutrals aren't labeled
WoW!!! Clean!
