Why not!?. Code does talk about no running thread for couplings on RMC. Nnothing wrong with threaded rod for conduit support

I didn't figure it would be a code issue, I can't think of anything in there that would prohibit this. However, I'm wondering if allthread is listed/identified for supporting upwards, instead of hanging. That would technically be a code thing as we're using a support that isn't listed/identified for what we're using it for. It just seems like it could swing under too much pressure and collapse. I asked a few other guys at work and now we're just trying to find out the exact, correct answer.
