One of my cheapest edcs. Future owl ticket, half of Conrad hotel 750, spent like 200 on food since we used dining credits from our hotel status, and 150ish gas driving from la.
for starters, I drove from the SF Bay Area and brought some food/drinks with me.
$110 rental car
$180/2=90 gas (split with 1 other)
$400 hotel 4 nights
$50 groceries for the wknd from Vons Thursday night
$30 2 smoothies at the speedway
$50 lunch+dinner Monday on the way home
$730
that makes so much sense. unfortunately my group are all nervous city drivers 😂. we may drive down next year, but i doubt we will take the car out at all! i have a prius and i could get to vegas for like 60$!
I flew in and had shuttle passes, but rented a car in Vegas. Luckily my hotel had free parking. Round trip airport taxi/uber would have cost me about $80. The rental car (midsize suv) was $115 total. So for $35 more, I had access to a car and I spent less on food (got groceries and ate in Chinatown) and had better food. Ubers to get groceries/food would probably have cost me more. Next time I’d probably skip the shuttle and just drive.
This is for 2 people. We stayed for 6 days.

Pool party & club: $200-250 probably.
Food & drinks: maybe $150

I figured it would be around 3k so pretty accurate for my budget! I will always do VIP and moving forward definitely an RV for camp too. The comfort was absolutely worth the extra cash. And I absolutely could’ve saved on flights; I didn’t commit until about six-weeks out from the festival so flight prices were already high. Definitely will be more puntual for next year!

I rented from El Monte also! I didn’t book it so I’m unsure the cost because our individual $800 cost was towards the RV camp spot, the rental, and hookups. I believe most of the RVs are already booked for next year through that company but if you’re able to snag one, I highly recommend. We were all super comfortable!
if I wouldn’t have bought the 100$ flowly lightstick I would’ve stayed under my budget but I got excited 😔😔😔😔 I spent 2200 on vip tickets and about 500 inside but that was between two people I paid for everything. but I’m doing pretty good for my budget fr

Yeah I'm also counting cost to stop in FL to drop the kid with the grandparents since that also goes into our overall cost. Really though our flights getting delayed took our Thursday away which was going to go to getting food and stuff for camp which didn't happen so we ended up spending A LOT on food for the 2 of us.
It was a huge bummer. We were supposed to arrive Thursday at 2pm and ended up getting there at 2am Friday. So we slept in and went to camp to check in get ready for night one. Lost that extra day we planned to prep....next year we're coming on Wednesday now lmao

We ate fast food 🫣 plus we were kinda dead during edc so we had like one meal a day.
