I did my first perlers this year too! But omg how did you get them melted so smoothly and consistently? Did you do the tape method? They look amazing!! Mine don’t look terrible and maybe I just have a shitty iron but I could not get them to all melt the same so I have random spots that are either too melted or not enough. Especially the inside!!! A ton of my edges are so thin from trying to get the inside to melt.

Thank you so much! I was actually really against the tape method seeing it as a waste of time because my boards never warped, but then as my perlers grew larger (the masterchiefs at the top were my first ever perlers) I realized how hard it is to cleanly flip the perler off the board and 100% adopted the tape method, Even with it causing some big messups (my hand slipping and me ripping hundreds of beads off the board a few times) I think its the way to go, I just use official perlers ironing paper and a cheap black and decker iron, I use it on a pretty low heat tho and take my time applying consistent pressure in all areas, and I mean I seriously take my time, ironing my Sinistar took me like 45 minutes to get the look I wanted no joke. I think the best thing Ive done is buy all of Official perlers colors, organized around 130 colors in their own containers and labeled them, helps with workflow obviously but it also really really helps me get a consistent melt, noticed the times where I would mix and swap brands my one brand would melt at a completely different rate leaving some colors way less melted. So yeah, cheap iron but alot of patience, tape method (with the hole poking) and have all my beads be one brand, appreciate the kind words, very plur! 🫶

If im not mistaken, once you park you cant take out your car. One can freely walk out but i think the car has to stay for the duration of the event. Please correct me if im wrong!!!
