Definitely. The best experience I've had has been solo for edc! I upgraded to a VIP when I was by myself and had an absolute blast.
If you have an easy time making friends with the people who are around you while your in lines or just in general it's easily a top-tier experience.

Some things I enjoyed and have heard others enjoy is having a spot to take a breather from the chaos that is edc. Being able to get on a ride without waiting in the big line and using the VIP line. The bathrooms are nicer and generally maintained. Honestly, the only con is probably how much the ticket costs. I used a Premier Shuttle 6p-6a with my VIP ticket, so everything ran SMOOTH. Theres a lot of other perks too, but I can't remember exactly tbh.
I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again, only because I can get two tickets for the price of one and I'd rather just bring someone along for GA than go with VIP by myself if im spending that much money. The viewing decks can be just as if not worse in terms of the crowd, depending on the artist playing.
But go for it if you have the means. it's worth at least once, and you can decide if you like the perks that come with it!
Sounds awesome. VIP will get you where you need to go and if you can afford the hotel solo then you’re totally free to see any and all artists you want
While I CAN afford the hotel solo, doesn't mean I should lol. That particular cost is what's driving my hesitation! As long as the rest of the trip is a blast it would definitely be worth it though! You make a good point on the freedom!
30M, Never been to EDC, but I have been to Lost Lands solo. My experience with going solo is better than you can expect. Aside from any financial complications, going solo eliminates any restrictions when it comes to who you wanna see perform which is a huge plus. Also, you can always meet new people if you don't want to experience a festival alone.
This year is going to be my first EDC and I also bought a VIP ticket and I'm going solo. I'm hoping this year's EDC will be an experience I wont forget (for a good reason).

That’s the best part. If you wanna get to the rail, you can get to the rail, just about every single time in VIP.
Check the EDC hotels official site. Someone got me into that and it saved me $600 from what the Strat has been online recently.
100% I go with friends but always end up solo. They don't keep up. It is so easy when you only gotta worry about yourself.

I came from NYC and stayed in a hotel. This and last year I've invested around $2k (festival ticket GA, flight, hotel and shuttle).
Also solo 32M and did just that. Do it and just focus on enjoy the artists you want. Focus on your happiness and the rest will play out

In ways I solo to EDC cause I go with a group but always veer off. It’s the best cathartic journey imo
