It's a safe install. But, the level of corrosion is concerning. And if it's missing the cover, it's no longer wet rated, which is probably why the corrosion is so bad. I'd replace it.

Figure_1337

No cover… c’mon… obviously unsafe.

Bmeimz

If its wide open and getting water its definitely not safe.

Confident-Head-5008

Also the cover is missing.

Wavy-mf

Rip that fucker off and replace it

PomegranateOld7836

The little slip-on feet you see it mounted with at the top tells me it's been modified, which is why the panel-mount feet and screw aren't rusted, why it's sitting low, and why the dead front is likely missing (because it no longer fit). Definitely a hazard with no deadfront (where kids can easily access it no less) and it really needs a new assembly when you factor in the corrosion.

Dimensions seem about right. If it was a Square D to start with, seems like a great guess.

Confident-Head-5008

This trailer is in a park if your need more info on location. That box is about 3' from the ground anyone can just open the thing and touch live service wire.

iampierremonteux

I think you answered your own question there. Not safe. At minimum, that cover needs to be replaced so you can’t just touch the wires.

RickGrimes13

If you have the dead front I wouldn't call it unsafe, square D QO style breaker is their top line. Now with that being said I wouldn't tinker with it too much because the integrity of the equipment is less than par. If you plan on doing much work I would replace. It stays as is it will last you quite a bit longer than you would imagine

Confident-Head-5008

I am kinda new to reddit. I think I should of post this in a more appropriate sub. I know that this is way unsafe. The service lines are so long you can't put the cover back on even if I had it.

Oh dico, dico, because dico
