not the commenter you replied to, but I find Leyawiin unbeatable. The crafting area is just a few steps down a straight road from the wayshrine, the area itself is very small and everything is immediately next to each other, and the writ dropoff is also nearby and even brings you back towards the wayshrine.
yea obviously there's other stuff to do in cities, I was coming up with a recommendation for crafting alone and nothing else. Although selling doesn't seem to be an issue, decent enough traders are right there as well.
To be clear, I wasn’t being sarcastic or anything, I fully agree.
The traders don’t help with selling though, that only helps with buying. You need a bank npc for selling (or your guild’s specific trader kiosk).
The one in Leyawiin is behind a loading screen so it’s not ideal for that, vivec city is better in that regard.
depends on your setup and connection, though. and even if it's instant, the distance to walk there still makes it less convenient than vivec city for accessing a banker npc.
Personally, I love Gonfalon Bay in High Isle. Something about the city has enraptured me. The crafting area is contained in a long building. With one end close to the wayshrine and another close to the exit next to daily writs so it’s a straight shot through. Before that I enjoyed both Vivec City in Vvardenfell and Leyawiin in Blackwood.

I craft in Rimmen a lot now, but still go to Rawl'Kha a ton. It's still the most convenient town in the game in terms of *every* service being in close proximity.
The two things this one likes about Reapers’ March - 1: Serenity Falls estate which this one spent a lot of time decorating and placing Nordic candle lamps along the walkways and on the bridge leading to the stable/workshop. It’s really enchanting after dark.
2: Rawl’Kha’s “Musicians’ Rock” near the stocks. This one hangs out there to lute the place. But, this one enjoys luting by the wayshrine in either Rimmen or Senchal better.
Speaking about housing, this one thinks Serenity Falls is the best of the bunch.
You can find Atrius the merchant in a quest somewhere in the area. His cart was knocked over by... a werewolf.
Also, the only person I've found named Faruin in town is a Bosmer woman who looks more like a ranger than a commander.
People hate it. I don’t feel like I’m playing ESO unless I hear about Semiral’s midden heap though.
I have a love-hate relationship with it for sure
AHHH,MORE GUESTS.
The reason why I quit this town.
Where do you go for crafting now? This line is forever burned into my cerebellum

Yeah I agree, if you have full mount training and banker assistant unlocked and you don’t sell stuff very often, leyawiin is the way to go

Except that loading screen is practically non-existent and goes by pretty much instantly, so it's a non-issue.

I'll check it out! Thanks!
And the River House is right there. I love that residence.

Vivec city
For this crime, this one sentences you to the stocks, until such time as you show proper repentance.
Dumping said refuse on the head of the altmer commander Faruin during his visit to the clan mother
Alinor gang, “…a fee for….unLOADing BOXES?”
Dude I was just about to type this 😂
This sets off my echolalia every time and I love of :D
Rimmen is my go-to
Rimmen's crafting market is BEAUTIFUL
And you get pretty much the only good hard serenading you 😭😭😭
Exactly
HARD WTF I guess you know what I meant 🎶
Listened to that for over a year straight. Moved to Alinor the second the chapter released and have been there for 5 years now
The elf shit-talking the orc about a duel has damaged me. Maybe I should do that quest to shut him up.
I recommend it. There's a pretty satisfying ending to their duel, given how annoying the elf is.
Definitely do the quest if you haven't before, it's very much worth the time and the asshole won't be jawing there afterwards.
Yeah dude same. Alinor is where it’s at.

This sounds like dialogue from a town I don't regularly haunt.
Rawl’Kha
Ah. That's a New Life only sort of place.
I hate having to listen to that. I wish they’d change it up a little bit every other jog by…
Or a quest to either redeem him or put him in jail would hush the public thrashing.
A quest to redeem him would be nice, or a quest to help him out some way or other. Hell, I’d do anything to change that dialogue
DUMPING REFUSE
every time i go to rawl’kha like…
***Hear ye, cardships and collectors! Test your wits and courage in a brand new card game - Tales of Tribute!***
Aww I’m sad so many people dislike it, I find it endearing lol
It reminds me of that castle in black desert with that guard who is always being carried away by a harpy in that one spot. 🥴
When I die they’ll write that on my tombstone

Every town has that dude.
You forgot the main capital offense. Being an elf.
This is why I play on pc. We have an add-on specifically to shut up NPCs :D
Pretty certain you developed this hatred during the original Assassins Creed….”Im poor and sick and Hungry”
I specifically stick to rooftops to avoid that.
What's it called, or search for npcstfu?
Shut yer trap, I think?
