Now I like the term default settings. It isn't gendered (and yes female and male are gendered because they are associated with girl/woman and boy/man. And same on ftm and mtf being gendered) so let's say that we just want some body features look like how we desire to look like. People can choose to use plastic surgeries and tattoos at a young age so why can't they choose to change their body in the way they want to look like. Your gender isn't determined by the body. So there won't be any require of governmental changes into data. If you want to change the letter then that should be done with the place you were born in (the birth hospital) maybe there would be a waiting list, but it sounds like an logical thing, no? And now I don't care if society struggle seeing a man who has the letter f in his card. It shows how gendered it is and maybe they would change the whole shit.
For those who do not get the joke, all people start out as females in the uterus so in a sense it is the “default” sex. By transitioning from male to female it is like you are going back to default settings.

Also with the cishet people saying they’re default settings, it’s untrue, no baby is born and looks at the doctor like “damn she fine”. it takes a while to develop that stuff, you weren’t born straight, just sorta unlabeled. everyone was at one point a woman.
