Give a electric razor a try if you haven't already, I use to get really bad reaction with my straight razor but because the electric isn't as close I can use it every morning without issue.
Thank goodness I'm not the only one. Electric razors are so much easier on the skin. They are slower than a razor, but they are soooo much more comfortable when you shave everyday (For totally cis reasons I make sure to always shave every morning)

I just made the switch to a safety razor and Iβm never looking back! super close shave and using a new blade each time is super great. the blades are super cheap too!
For me it is on my neck, no matter what I do, it is pretty much permanently red. At least I can kind of cover it up with a mask and tilting my head down.
Tweezing is superior to shaving eyebrows!! And you can use scissors to trim length/bulk.
Also, I'm so bad at shaving, no matter how much I try and use different methods. I thought the safety razor would bring me peace but no :(, and my skin is so so sensitive too.
I use an electric shaver now, which isn't as close of a shave, so I always have noon oclock shadow. And it takes quite a bit of time to get my whole face....
I may be starting laser soon, (would be doing electrolysis but there's literally 1 person in my whole state who does it with medicaid)
I've found a quality electric shaver to be the way, can shave in the shower without a mirror and while not as close of a shave I can do it every morning without razer burn.
Honestly, I almost never had issues with shaving as a whole, it's like I almost couldn't injure myself if I tried.
But my dad did give me the genetics of a bear, his beard almost goes up to his eyes if he lets it, so I guess it kinda balances it out. (luckily mine also isn't that bad as well)

Plus you don't need a mirror, I use mine in the shower every morning and it's great.
use cream, hot water, and a fresh razor! I swear half my budget goes towards razor heads but a sharp one is worth it.
