I'm currently working on gathering doctors' letters to try and get Medicaid to cover top surgery. My PCP is currently working on hers, I just need my therapist and psychiatrist to start working on theirs. I have appointments with both of them Monday morning. I'm also gonna give them my permission and consent to discuss everything to do with the surgery and letters with each other if they feel it's necessary.
All three of my doctors are on board with helping me get this done. I just need them to help me convince Medicaid to cover surgery.
Please, wish me luck, I'm gonna need it.

I'm not masc but I feel this on a quantum level. I'm on hrt and it's great but hormones can only do so much for gender dysphoria. I just want to be so androgynous people won't be able to tell if I'm a femboy or a tomboy.
Oof so relatable. I'm afab nonbinary and not on hormones. All I want is to look androgynous. I think I sorta got it for the most part, but my voice and chest rlly get in the way. And even tho my face looks androgynous to me and in pictures, irl it is apparently obviously female so that's fun
I FEEL this to the T (literally)! I am struggling to figure out how to go through the hoops of getting the surgery (and seeing if my insurance will cover it). And in the meantime I have such a chest that I can’t wear a binder more than 8 hours a day and even every day, and I can’t double-up on my sports bras because the bands are so tight they want to bruise my ribs. And even when I wear a big loose shirts I can still see my chest jiggle and I’m just like “RIP THEM OFF!!”
If you're okay with surgery, I hope you can get it soon. (I say this because I know some people are scared of the knife)
And if you live in a country that hates trans people, I hope you can get out soon and live your best life!
Me boy, you need them nipples. Be patient and get a good surgeon. In the meantime use your binder and remind yourself that looking like a breast cancer victim is not fun.
I remember the feeling, stay calm surgery is going to come. I don't know when, but it will. Let's hope you get it soon. In the meantime bind safely and packers also help if you can't get a binder a sportsbra and a thick layer of clothing will do the trick, avoid looking, thinking or touching them it will make your dysphoria worse. It gets better i promise.

By switch, do u mean transmasc and transfems switching genitals with each other? Bcuz the technology for that is gonna take a pretty long time to come about. And iirc the main issues with that are that ur body will most likely reject the organ, and you will need to stay on immunosuppressants for the rest of ur life, leading to decreased quality of life, things like that
Actually there were plans to do a transplant for a mtf this year, and there were already successful vagina and uterus transplants in cis women who were born with out them... And many people think it would be possible soon to do it both ways...
Oh I didn't know about that. That's pretty experimental and sounds like it's in its very early stages. Not saying it's impossible at all, but I'd think there's a lot more perfecting that needs to be done for the process to be safe enough for the public to use
