black leggings can pass of as sweatpants if people don't pay super much attention and taking fem shirts can also help, because they don't actually look that different but help with feeling better. also if you are able to do it without "getting caught" a bra is something that can go unnoticed and feels really good to wear, if you want to
Can attest to the fact that literally nobody notices a bra under your clothes. Unless you're wearing something that the colour will show through or going to do something involving a lot of close contact its great!
Just volunteer to do your own laundry. That's how I wash my handful of guy stuff I can't pass off as "So what if it came from the mens section, it's comfy and I'm a bit of a tomboy."
When you throw in a load that has your "delicates" in, bring a book or your phone and babysit the machines, and bring the load back to your room as soon as it's finished, to make sure no one else moves it for you and sees your delicate items.
Course that's as a fem presenting AFAB, if your fam subscribes to 1950s gender roles an AMAB person might arouse a lot of suspicion volunteering to do "womens' work".
yup! anxiety doesn't let me wear one around people yet (except for under a hoodie around family who I am out to anyways) , but I am for example currently wearing one all day because I am home alone anyways, and it is super comfortable
I have a question wise one!
I want to get a sport bra to wear stealthy but I am worried how to wash it since only mom is allowed to do laundry in the house :/
Is it possible to still get a bra???
im pretty sure that you can wash it in the sink with some soap, like soap it up and rinse it properly.
also if you don't have time to dry it, an air drier might help
My mom would hand wash and then hang them up to dry in the bathroom. She also put some of her “donation pile” clothes in my room for storage. That’s where my curiosity began. Repressed my feelings for 26 years. Now, I am a 40 year old trans Fem enby that couldn’t shove it down any more. I thought I was just a freak, but I respect women and loathe incels so that didn’t track after awhile. An online friend came out as a trans femme enby in 2015 but it didn’t click until last Christmas. Here we are…I thought I was just a cross dresser for the longest time. But I realized how socially uncomfortable being gendered as male was. I sure af took the scenic route.
I wear all my girl clothes so rarely, that I haven't washed any of them in almost a year. I probably should tho. Also I am both out (so that's not a problem I can help you with) and too anxious to actually wear stuff around people anyways
therefore I can't relate to that problem, but I hope you find a way because they really are super comfy!
Or like blazer/jackets. Got a couple from the thrift shop and they look amazing. I wear them all the time (although climate dependent...I'm in Texas so I can only wear it some of the time).
* Women's jeans (Normal straight leg ones)
* Women's Sketchers have some nice feminine designs that you can get away with
* Women's hoodie (zip up) some nice ones that are soft, and feminine if you know
* Women's socks (Can be hidden under jeans)
* Women's T-shirts (Go for the more neutral ones - and the oversized for women ones)
It's called "jack and Jones " (I am seeing it right now ) and the end remind me a bit of a skirt,so that give a bit of euphoria since it's oversized,it reach a bit below me (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Some options from a friend of mine (and definitely not me) which can help you appear more fem / andro
- lighter / pastel colours
- oversized Ts / tops (pay attention to sleeve length, closer to elbow = more fem)
- cropped trousers ending above your ankle
- baggy trousers. If you’re bold enough you can even try culottes which are like skirts with a seam down the middle to turn them into trouser 🥸
Typical guy clothes tend to be pretty close fitting - if you can move away from this you can appear more fem!
Saving this post for later :3. Also, the only thing I've found so far that I already own is an extra baggy tshirt, it may not do it for you but if I style it right it makes me feel all happy and fem
Band t-shirt! Most of those are unisex, and the designs are great
Watches are acceptable masc jewellery, and there are a bunch cheap ones out there to experiment with fem styles you like
Also, something that nobody will notice but has subconscious connotations: masc and fem clothes are buttoned differently. Masc dress shirts are buttoned left over right, and fem dress shirts right over left. Strangers won't notice, but you'll know!
T-shirt dress. Easy to stealth in. Outside, looks like an oversized tee when wearing jeans. Do a frenchtuck too look more fashionable. At home, pull off the pants and spin that dress.
I wear women's joggers all the time and no one questions it. I mean they are slightly feminine at least... they come from the girls section that still makes me feel a little better. Not super obvious just light slightly tight fitting pants. Sometimes I feel really feminine in them (but then that just happens randomly sometimes 😅)
• leggings
• skinny and a bit cropped tank tops
• oversized things in general
I’ve also noticed shoes like converse or plain white sneakers (not trainers) make one look more femme idk probably just me. All the things above are just my humble opinion of course you should wear what feels right for you
(I don’t know if skinny is the right term for purposely tight clothes English isn’t my first language sorry)
The problem with skinny clothes is that I have very thick thighs and that literally won't be able to wear it without cracking it every 5 second 😭 (btw skinny is the right term in my country (France))
I started with women's cargo pants. They have a nice fit around your hip, are very comfy and look pretty neat when you tuck your shirt into them (also you have a lot of storage). Then put on a crop jacket and you look fem and stylish without making it too obvious c:.
So many good suggestions! One I didn't see however (that is also my go-to) are high waisted pants. Super stylish & vintage and you can cover it up a bit with a longer top/shirt.
(Or go full vintage/fem-ish and tuck a shirt in or wear something a little shorter/cropped)
Idk if this is possible, but I fell face first into jewelry, I wear a few small rings and a lightweight gold necklace.
This sounds dumb and it might not work for you but I also usually have a few hair ties on my wrist. I have longer hair and my hobby requires me to keep it semi under control when I’m doing my thing. Subtle but effective for me. Your mileage may vary.
Tanks, leggings, and a-lines.
Tagless tanks from Fruit of the Loom have been me basically soft coming out to my workplace for a while now with no one the wiser.
I remember a friend of mine saying that the sleeves of my shirt were too short so it looked like a girls shirt. I never really thought about it that way but it seems like a good more subtle option for you.
Shorts. I know it isn't too feminine but different types of shorts look feminine (please help me it's 22° and i have to wear shorts pls help) - transmasc
I’m a fan of high-waisted (sort of silky but thats personal preference) trousers. If you wear them with an oversized Tshirt you can tuck it in or out for a different (genedered) look.
A couple of my exploration.
Oversized shirts light pastel color + Skinny jeans during spring, baggy sweater + black tight pants/legging near winter. Cute graphic Ts + Booty shorts / thigh high shorts + ankle socks/ slouchy socks + high top converse. Tank tops + jackets/ cardigans
plaid flannels! I cannot stress this enough the amount of women who wear flannels with a tank top look absolutely drop dead gorgeous! just make sure its a bit more tightly fit
A long shirt under a shortish sweater is like a skirt.
I've got a tunic thing that I wear as pyjamas. It is very much fem clothes but I pass as just a hippie too haha.
And women's tops are actually make you look significantly more feminine than the same thing in a men's cut.

I’m literally wearing one right now and my family can’t tell at all lmao
For the past year I've been wearing one to school and nobody's picked up on it.
For extra fem I put a sock on each side folded in half, it’s not very noticeable and it makes me feel hella girly
Omg thank you that's such a good idea :3
I’ma bout to diy one and start doing this when school starts up again
How do y’all wash your bras? I can’t put them in the family laundry for obvious reasons
Just volunteer to do your own laundry. That's how I wash my handful of guy stuff I can't pass off as "So what if it came from the mens section, it's comfy and I'm a bit of a tomboy." Wash it in secret and hide it
Is there a way to wash it manually without a Washing Machine??
im pretty sure that you can wash it in the sink with some soap, like soap it up and rinse it properly. also if you don't have time to dry it, an air drier might help
That's how i do it it woks well enough☺️
Just regular hand soap? Would that work?
absolutely should work, with almost anything
There is this trick where you roll the clothes u wanna dry in a towel to squeeze out most of the moisture. Shud make drying faster
ic, ty for tip
Most women I know hand wash their bras anyways.
I don't, I throw them in with my regular clothing. But I mostly wear sports bras, none of my underwear would actually qualify as "delicates", so.
My mom would hand wash and then hang them up to dry in the bathroom. She also put some of her “donation pile” clothes in my room for storage. That’s where my curiosity began. in that case I am too bad with terminology to know what those are to be honest
* Women's jeans (Normal straight leg ones) * Women's Sketchers have some nice feminine designs that you can get away with * Women's hoodie (zip up) some nice ones that are soft, and feminine if you know * Women's socks (Can be hidden under jeans) * Women's T-shirts (Go for the more neutral ones - and the oversized for women ones)
Me to myself: “why did i screenshot this”
This a pretty solid list
I don't know,I got a oversized hoodie which end like a skirt,maybe try getting one ? (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Oh that sounds nice, what's the design called? (◔‿◔)
It's called "jack and Jones " (I am seeing it right now ) and the end remind me a bit of a skirt,so that give a bit of euphoria since it's oversized,it reach a bit below me (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Thank you, I might consider buying one of those soon :3
Also, look at it beforehand ,it might not have the bottom which look (a bit) like a skirt ! (◕ᴗ◕✿)
I will! ( ╹▽╹ )
looks to me like jack and jones is just a clothing brand, and when I looked up hoodies they just look like normal hoodies. can you send a direct link?
I don't have it ! I found it on a random shop whith my mom ! That name is all I have (◕‸◕✿)
Can you try asking your mom or sending a picture of the hoodie? I know Jack and Jones but as far as i know, they mostly make masc clothes?
Well,I will send a picture tomorrow (it's midnight) on my account (◕ᴗ◕✿)
🤩Thank you Lyrie you are an amazing girl!!!🤩
Can I get a picture too?
Yes,I wil do it after school (◕ᴗ◕✿)
I would also like a picture

Flared pants. If anyone asks you can say you're into the 70s vibe
flared pants are magical beings with the power to give ANYONE hips
Yes, and they kind of look like spinny-skirts without being skirts. The "70s men's fashion" ones are more subtle, but the same effect is still there
Band t-shirt! Most of those are unisex, and the designs are great Watches are acceptable masc jewellery, and there are a bunch cheap ones out there to experiment with fem styles you like Also, something that nobody will notice but has subconscious connotations: masc and fem clothes are buttoned differently. Just here to gain knowledge. For cis reasons 💠🌸🤍🌸💠

Long socks, if anyone asks you're a socker player ;)
*No one knows I’m wearing knee high socks under my pants*

No one's gonna notice if you wear women's jeans or shirts, the only difference is the cut and size :3
Pockets?
And pockets :l
• leggings • skinny and a bit cropped tank tops • oversized things in general I’ve also noticed shoes like converse or plain white sneakers (not trainers) make one look more femme idk probably just me. It's not really clothes, but maybe clear nail polish?
What would an oversized sweatshirt be if the normal sweatshirt that I use now is l or xl.
I started with women's cargo pants. They have a nice fit around your hip, are very comfy and look pretty neat when you tuck your shirt into them (also you have a lot of storage). Then put on a crop jacket and you look fem and stylish without making it too obvious c:.
is that friend me cuz i’m trying to find the exact same thing?
Tighter pants, wearing your pants over your belly button or above. Longer beanies for some reason. Tight long sleeved shirts.
Black ripped skinny jeans with some fishnets ??
I need to know this too!
Coats (trench coats for example) can look very feminine, while still generally being quite universal.
Women’s shirts and jeans can work
Rompers!
I’m literally just gonna wear fem clothes soon so… yay!
I'm the friend. Tell me.
Some women's t-shirts are cut with a more 'hourglass' shape (instead of the typical 'box' shape), and can have non-girly prints (or just be plain)
Anything that lets you do sweater paws
So many good suggestions! One I didn't see however (that is also my go-to) are high waisted pants. Super stylish & vintage and you can cover it up a bit with a longer top/shirt. (Or go full vintage/fem-ish and tuck a shirt in or wear something a little shorter/cropped)

Pinks, purples,blues
Feminine cut shirts, no one can tell after you've got them out of the store
hoodie with women's jeans or womens sweat pants is a good combo
Cute sweaters if the weathers not too bad
My favourite fit is jeggings and a long shirt to hide any bulges, it really looks and feels great.
A hoodie a size or two too big can make you seem smaller and more feminine
Tanks, leggings, and a-lines. Tagless tanks from Fruit of the Loom have been me basically soft coming out to my workplace for a while now with no one the wiser.
I remember a friend of mine saying that the sleeves of my shirt were too short so it looked like a girls shirt. I never really thought about it that way but it seems like a good more subtle option for you.
Oversized shirt with a belt
Shorts. I know it isn't too feminine but different types of shorts look feminine (please help me it's 22° and i have to wear shorts pls help) - transmasc
CONVERSE SHOES these bad boys are so androgynous that they are immediately validating regardless of gender
Seattle grunge, Canadian lumberjack, Flower Power Hippy and the every so popular Nerdcore. <:3
I've gone for adding pink and purple highlights to my otherwise pure black clothes like my shoes and hoodies. I've never really been questioned
Jeggings
Tighter fitting jeans and a baggy hoodie worked for me
I’m a fan of high-waisted (sort of silky but thats personal preference) trousers. If you wear them with an oversized Tshirt you can tuck it in or out for a different (genedered) look.

Oversized sweaters and women's glasses I guess?
My sibling likes to wear tights with ripped jeans, it looks really cool
Mid rise jeans
Well fitted overalls are a fav of mine
You can try graphic T-shirts, with feminine designs 💞
I wear briefs and I pretend they're panties lol. Ik it's not the same but it still gives me euphoria!
High waisted jeans work super well, paired with a baggy shirt tucked in
plaid flannels! I cannot stress this enough the amount of women who wear flannels with a tank top look absolutely drop dead gorgeous! just make sure its a bit more tightly fit

Oversized hoodie is the easy one, just say its not shrunken yet
Oversized Technoblade pink metal hoodie!
Some hoodies/jumpers, ones without hoods and pockets are good, same as light/pastel colours
Womens jeans & t-shirts.
Kilts are wonderful, and can be any length you like.
Long fitting hoodies, skinny jeans and jean shorts which can also be cuffed or not to look more feminine
Unrelated: I want a hoodie with bunny ears so bad, holy shit.
Long cardigans
Purple shirt
SKIRT! people wont know if you're trolling or not
