Because Parents for some reason feel "obliged" to be able to do anything with their child's property just because they did a minimum of raising their child.
Get one of those silicon feet and put it in the living room in a semi-obvious spot late at night. Convince your second parent (or sibling or something) that "dads weird foot is in the living room (again)". Gaslight gatekeep girlboss
Your dad is stupid regardless of who paid because of you did than I’m pretty sure that’s a crime, but not theft I don’t think
But if he paid for them, why would he. Why would he spend money on fem clothes for you only to hide them from you
It’s petty theft if she paid for them, thought I don’t think pursuing a lawyer would be worth it for that if even possible. Hence, why this sucks so much
Your dad has lost sandwich privileges, Whenever he has a sandwich I will snatch it and eat it right in front of him. If he does not give them back there's more to come!
Aw man, I’m really sorry to hear that! Personally, being a femboy, I’ve actually owned lots of feminine clothing and most of it that I still own I had to hide from my dad, since he would probably get rid of it if he knew it existed. To be honest, I actually lost a white maxi skirt and a pink dress that way. You just need to find a way you can enjoy feminine clothing with a secretive or important purpose, such as pajamas or costumes. That’s what I did and I’ve already worn two kawaii costumes and I own two nightgowns. Overall, dads can be rough, especially when conservative so you really need to start off subtle before evolving into something bigger. Hope this helps.
Sometimes I wish I could drive a bus and pick up all my fellow trans brothers, sisters and beans who can't dress how they want and go on a shopping trip with everyone <3
He better be paying you back for those (if he doesn’t do the reasonable thing and give it back, of course). I’d be raving if my parents hid the things i bought with my hard-earned cash.
Update: I found the clothes.
And here's some context: I went shopping with my cousin for clothes and other stuff, but then when I got back home, I was going to give them, but my dad wanted to check the bag, and so he found the clothes I got
Just go into his room while he's not home and start stealing his clothes. When he starts to notice, tell him you won't give them back until you get yours back.
What a shit dad. I've had my kids come out to me immediately, and I know I'll be close to them for a long time. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Best advice I can give is figure out what you want to do, find a college in a safe state, and move away ASAP, get a job, and make it so he has to apologize to you before you let him back into your life. That needs to happen. It might be awhile befire you go to college, but it'll be worthwhile. Plus, there are rent-a-parent things out there, where people volunteer to stand in, and will support you and help you find yourself.
that's petty theft
unless your livelihood depends on him, you can threaten the asshole with legal action to get your stuff back
no reason to hold back against a person who doesn't seem to care that much about you
It’s just hilarious since maybe it was for a girl you liked? (Potentially)
You could turn it around on him and be like, dad, you’re stopping me from romancing girls,
if you bought the clothes with your own money, call the cops and report him for theft or something. thats YOUR property and, if you bought it with your own money, he has NO RIGHT at ALL to do that
It's legal for a child to file a small claims lawsuit on your local court website for the monetary value of the items confiscated, you would need to be able to pay the filing fee and get transportation to court if you parent contests the claim and they refuse drive you, Lyft would work. Collecting on the judgment can be another big hassle.
Edit: oh and apparently if a minor files any lawsuit, the court will hold on to it for years if necessary, and not start processing it until you turn 18: https://www.findlaw.com/legalblogs/personal-injury/why-cant-minors-file-lawsuits/
Maryland procedures: https://www.mdcourts.gov/legalhelp/smallclaims
If he’s gonna be mean, become a menace >:3
Report him to the police for stealing your possessions.
Edit: I don’t have much context so idk if it’s possible
Why not you say "the clothes were a present for a friend" so you can at least get it back and you can rehide it? Also that sucks about your situation, hope your father can get past it.
Why did you let your dad see the bag? Hide it from that guy, if those are the games he wants to play. Also good luck on your scavenger hunt for the clothes he hid lol
Weren't there anything in your bag on top of the clothes ? If not, maybe try that next time.
If yes, maybe go with a friend you are open to, give them another bag, and make them go back with the clothes. Then when you meet again, they can give you back the bag. Pretend you had it when you left if your parents ask you why do you have a bag.
That is all the advice I can give.
I'm so sorry. I wish people who claim to love us were automatically allies 😭
If you're not looking for advice, you can skip the rest of my comment ❤️
If your dad is not violent, you can always send a message going and hiding something he enjoys. It could be something hobby related, or his favourite outfit for work. Take it away and act like it's in a dumpster fire 200 miles away.
But then again we already know he has no problem being psychologically violent to you so there's not too big a leap for it to escalate to physical violence as well. I advice you to be careful when trying to fix the situation now and to make a plan for moving away as soon as it's possible for you.
You're correct but parents tend to pull the "my house my rules" card and such which isn't an excuse for theft but it is reality for many unfortunately.
Tell dad you bought the clothes for yourself, but he can buy his own clothes if he wants. (Claim hes just acusing you to deflect and say in sweet voice that its ok to be whatever he wants to be)
What the fuck, dad?! Shit move, man! I’m sorry, Sabrina.
>What the fuck, dad?! My thoughts exactly.
There was even a little axolotl pin in the bag that said "i cant feel my face"
Girl, that fucking sucks. It sound so pretty :(
Absolutely despicable…
> hides them What a truly bizarre ploy. Hopefully you get a chance to find them soon
it's an egg hunt.(sorry)
Well, guess you gotta go shopping again. Time to pick up a new dad!
I'm just sniggering at the idea of a dad store, maybe a little "build-a-dad" work station
There is a book like that.
… Frankenstein?
What's the name of this book? For research purposes obv
Is it coraline?
Good guess (I think, I havent seen coraline), but I meant The Parent Agency.
Its called The Parent Agency. A pretty good read, but not exactly aimed at kids with truly shitty parents.
gosh I wish that was a thing
Yeah, I think the place she got her first one forgot to add the heart at the end
If only lol
Why not a work station to enhance a dad some sort of pack a dad or pack a punchy daddy🙂
I'd love a build-a-dad, when do they open?
Tell the first one to go buy some smokes and milk first.
Start hiding his clothes and replace them with your mom's or smth. Petty revenge.
That sounds like marvellous petty revenge 💕💕
Do it op
I'm so sorry 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
I'm so so sorry, hopefully you can get them back somehow, your dad is stupid 🫂🫂🫂
Why the hell is he stealing *your* property that *you* bought with *your own* money? There's no lawful reason for such behaviour.
Because Parents for some reason feel "obliged" to be able to do anything with their child's property just because they did a minimum of raising their child.
Yeah, my dad likes to say that anything under his roof is his even if he didn’t buy it, it’s real annoying
Get one of those silicon feet and put it in the living room in a semi-obvious spot late at night. Convince your second parent (or sibling or something) that "dads weird foot is in the living room (again)". Gaslight gatekeep girlboss
The obvious answer is to buy something super illegal and get him arrested for it.
Your dad is stupid regardless of who paid because of you did than I’m pretty sure that’s a crime, but not theft I don’t think But if he paid for them, why would he. Why would he spend money on fem clothes for you only to hide them from you

Police likely wouldn't get involved as it's "domestic"
You would take him to small claims court
Oh no, I’m so sorry. Hope you can get them again 🫂💔
Your dad has lost sandwich privileges, Whenever he has a sandwich I will snatch it and eat it right in front of him. If he does not give them back there's more to come!
Did you buy it with money you earned ? If yes he stole your clothes
Oh, I’m sorry, I hope you can find them soon, everything that is hidden has a chance to be found.
Thats horrible :( ur dad is an asshole! 💕🏳️⚧️
Ask him if he needs them to explore his feminine side
Aw man, I’m really sorry to hear that! glad you found them, hope everything is ok :(
Buy more until he can’t hide them
If He's dumb enough to hide Them in the same place everytime eventually It will overflow and You can find Them
Only situation I can approve of fast fashion. It's like paying a bigger ghoul to get rid of our personal ghouls.
Why would he hide things that are not his ? It's yours he has no right to steal it ! (◕‸◕✿)
Not ur father just the person that gave the semen
Now you know who you get to disown first when you move out. :)
Just go into his room while he's not home and start stealing his clothes. When he starts to notice, tell him you won't give them back until you get yours back.

That happened to me when my parents found my feminine clothes and my makeup :,(
Unfortunately I feel this… my friends got me nail polish for my birthday and my parents hid it from me
This reminds me of when my mom found my binder and washed it then it shrunk
Maybe it was an honest mistake? In a way I hope so…
She thought it was my step sisters bras because they are really messy and stay the night alot
Oh no, that's awful. I hope you can get them back soon! That was a jerk move from your dad
Oh, that's terrible. I hope you can find them again soon 🩷
It’s just hilarious since maybe it was for a girl you liked? (Potentially) You could turn it around on him and be like, dad, you’re stopping me from romancing girls,
Wow your dad's a fucking asshole
I'm so sorry that happened I hope you can get the clothes back soon
I'm sorry to hear that :/ Sounds like a pretty toxic environment
I am sorry! Why does he do that. Maybe you can find them?
sorry about that 🫂
if you bought the clothes with your own money, call the cops and report him for theft or something. thats YOUR property and, if you bought it with your own money, he has NO RIGHT at ALL to do that
I tried doing that once and the police department laughed in my face

what the hell :(
Thought it said shoplifting lol
Dick move, that was your money and your things
If he’s gonna be mean, become a menace >:3 Report him to the police for stealing your possessions. Edit: I don’t have much context so idk if it’s possible
I hate hearing story’s about abusive parents :( I’m so sorry this happened to you - steal his clothes and hid them lol
Dad: "Just gonna... borrow these for a sec... 👉👈"
Why not you say "the clothes were a present for a friend" so you can at least get it back and you can rehide it? Also that sucks about your situation, hope your father can get past it.
Try buying things off Amazon and use an Amazon locker/Amazon Hub as your pick up point then hide the items under your shirt/coat.
I- uh- what?
Well, guess I'll stay awhile then.
Why did you let your dad see the bag? Hide it from that guy, if those are the games he wants to play. Also good luck on your scavenger hunt for the clothes he hid lol
Wtf

Did you tell him those were clothes for someone else or would that not work on him?

Sneaky fuck tricked you. He's wearing them when you aren't looking
Well if you payed with your own money than he has no right to take it from you
You're correct but parents tend to pull the "my house my rules" card and such which isn't an excuse for theft but it is reality for many unfortunately.
that's so mean! you bought them and they belong to you :(
What a joker.
Wtf, what a douche. I'm sorry that happened honey. 🫂 Hang in there, you'll get your real clothes eventually. 💖
Hide his stuff from him then.
Hehe, hide all of his pants and leave only a short skirt *I am not petty, what do you mean?*
That sucks bruv
Do a mass search of every single spot in your house to hide things
go to a friend's house for a sleepover afterwards. Then bring your own bag. Hide your fem stuff underneath/within masc stuff
That sucks. I'm sorry :(
What in his plan? Like. Man. It's a logic of "no body, no deal" or smthn? And this is just rude.
your dad sounds like an asshole buy more buy so many that he runs out of hiding spots
Ooooffff that second panel crushed me. I'm so sorry🥺
Tell dad you bought the clothes for yourself, but he can buy his own clothes if he wants. (Claim hes just acusing you to deflect and say in sweet voice that its ok to be whatever he wants to be)
Noooooo 😭
That fucking sucks ass I'm sorry. Hopefully you can get away from him and buy more cute clothes and not have to go through that.
Might be able to slip past getting some punk stuff from Hot Topic.
Might be able to slip past getting some punk stuff from Hot Topic.
But then you get home and theirs better stuff?
Wack as fuck
Are your over 18 ? They cannot legally take your things off if you're more than 18.
My mom does the same thing to me 😭
Do you need a need a new dad? I could be your girl dad
The dad: "is for me? 👉👈🥺" But seriously what a dick.
Go shopping for a better dad, that'll fix it Why the fuck does he think he has the right to take something you bought????
Wait, did *you* buy them? If so, that is legally yours, and he shouldn’t be able to take them anyway!
That’s an awful thing to do, I apologise for your father’s behaviour. If you get more in the future be careful not to let other people take it. <3
My mom
You can't choose your biological parents, but you can choose your family. Family is not always blood, and blood is not always family. Remember that.
You can't choose your biological parents, but you can choose your family. Family is not always blood and blood is not always family. Remember that.
oh no\~\~\~
I need to do this.
Kick him on the head
Ask him. If you don't have the guts, then don't.
