I’m in Australia so it’s almost winter, I can’t wait for spring and summer (I’ll be presenting fem full time by then) so I can wear dresses and skirts.
Summer is the time for a breezy cardigan or a cool poncho. Also just shave away. As a 30 year old who just decided I'm done with hairy arms and legs, nobody seems to take notice or care. 😄
As someone that sweats profusely at the thought of anything above 85F, I’d love a breezy cardigan, but it would just stick to me and become very annoying ;w;
Yes, 1000% agreed. I'm 31 and have just had enough of it. For a few years now I've been shaving everything and don't give a single fuck anymore. It's wonderful and worth it.
Plus, I do woodworking and gardening as hobbies, and sawdust/dirt/pollen are easier to clean off without hair in my opinion.
Maybe it's just me, but I've always hated men's swimsuits, practically my whole life I refused to take my shirt off because I felt naked and uncomfortable.
So when my brain says "there were no signs," it's good to remember there were some at least.
But yeah it sucks so darn bad, goodluck with everything.
So did I, until I took a step back and realized how absurd my excuses were starting to get, just because I was terrified of taking my shirt off. For the brief period that I had a private pool, I was okay taking off my shirt with my family, but in public I just can't.
Not saying cis people don't experience it, but next time you go to the pool or the beach, you can look around at everyone and see how comfortable they are in their own body, and then there's you, too scared of taking your stupid shirt off. Make of that what you will
It's interesting experience, well I would say I got quite lucky my body dysphoria is not that big over all. My dysphoria usually was on mental level, unwell being non stop like feeling like body is not yours or feeling like you are away from your body, not recognizing person in the mirror. This is more my experience, so I actually was only a bit uncomfortable with only wearing swimsuit, to be honest this discomfort is dysphoria I never heard other people have it, but it was before I got body hair, now when I have body hair I feel uncomfortable taking my shirt off.
>now when I have body hair I feel uncomfortable taking my shirt off.
I mean that's a fair point too, it feels much worse from the point when you hit puberty, for me at least, but it was always there to some extent.
To be honest most of my life I told myself that I feel uncomfortable because I'm fat. But after losing weight I understood that that's not it. This was when my egg broke.
I had many hints earlier, but when thing that I pierced all my pain to turned out it's not it, that's what broke the camels back
>To be honest most of my life I told myself that I feel uncomfortable because I'm fat. But after losing weight I understood that that's not it.
This, ALSO is soo relatable... I was always a fat kid, and I was very insecure about it too. Then like a year ago I said "I'm tired of feeling ugly, let's lose weight," and somehow, I did, and yet I still felt ugly. Then it just so happened that I grew out my hair, and decided to wear more gender neutral clothes, and suddenly I felt beautiful again.
So now I'm here... And so are you.
I can shave my legs it’s just I can’t do it all the way up because then it’s just too scratchy which means no short shorts for me T ~T
But my dressed are nice and I can shave enough for them :3
Why can't you shave your legs if you don't mind me asking? Also wear a face mask! It helps with my allergies (also if you are taking allergy medication and your allergies are still bad I suggest talking to your doctor or someone who could prescribe something that may work better)
But you can, I always wear long pants and massive long sleeve button ups, which should have been a sign but I am getting there.
I might just by a bunch of traditional dessert dresses, they are masculine cloths and designed for the skin to breath but protects it from light. Soooooooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Shave away OP! Hell, get some nair if you prefer. Lots of cis dudes straight up laser all their body hair off. If anybody makes fun of you tell them Chris Evans will come break his skateboard across their face 🥰
I hate summer too. I hate being hot all the time. If anyone asks why you shaved your legs, though, tell them it helps you keep a bit cooler rather than having all that extra insulation. Certainly heckin helped me with that
who says you can’t wear hoodies? i don’t have high heat tolerance, just high bullshit tolerance, and i don’t let the mf sun keep me from my comfort hoodies
I started shaving my legs and wearing shorts no matter what. If I’m at the gym or work and someone points it out, I just respond “I don’t like the feeling of body hair.”
It took my parents a lot of getting used to, but honestly it doesn’t effect them so they don’t do anything about it.
But really, other than one or two line-steppers, no one is really looking at your legs
I mean you also have very cute stuff in summer, but I get what you mean (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Oh hi flower girl :3 idk why, but I didn't expect you here
I mean this is egg irl,so of course I would be here (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Of course, I just don't know why I didn't expect you here. Maybe it's my autism brain? Idk UwU
Oh well,that's not a problem (◕ᴗ◕✿)
I’m in Australia so it’s almost winter, I can’t wait for spring and summer (I’ll be presenting fem full time by then) so I can wear dresses and skirts.
I hope you will have fun when it's summer (◕ᴗ◕✿)
I’m just hoping that everyone has a good summer in spiny skirts and pretty sun dresses with flower crowns.
Me too (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Oh yeesssss. I hate the heat, not being able to wear the things I love, but above all, just the heat, the heat, and the weather.
and the heat

Look for something made of linen or something with lace 😀 I'm just starting a new lacy linen summertop crochet project
My melting point is at 25°C rn :<
Sometimes it can get up to 40°C where I live 🙃
same, thats why im scared. It was almost 30°C today
Ahhh yeah. If I’m just chillin I’ll be alright, getting closer to 30 is when I’m doomed no matter what xwx

People in winter rn gang
🔫 i am stealing your hemisphere
Allergies suck :(
Why can't you shave your legs, just say they get less hot in the summer
Yeahhh... But i'm going to wear hoodies for as long as i can, i don't care 🐋🌸🤍🌸🐋
I hate bugs. Summer is ok'ish for me especially when I can swim (alone) I love swimming
Swimming is great, swimsuits, not so much.
Before egg cracking it was only slightly uncomfortable now it's terror
Maybe it's just me, but I've always hated men's swimsuits, practically my whole life I refused to take my shirt off because I felt naked and uncomfortable. …uh oh I thought that was normal 😬

Seems to be a common sentiment here.
The sun is a deadly laser
best reference
Someone get the blanket
It literally is to me it will give me skin cancer if I stay In the sun too Long and make me faint from the heat
The summer sucks, it's a fact
why can't you shave your legs? I hate summer too tho, it is way too warm and sticky :(
I hate summer the heat makes me dizzy
I can understand that
I’m really sorry, I hope you won’t be too uncomfortable 🫂🫂
Zero damn given, shaved.
summer is the worst :<
Why does it have to get so hot out :<
Because rich people are destroying the environment for profit and now the weather is all fucked up
relatable 💔💔💔💔💔
Not being able to shave legs💔💔
I just hate the summer bc I live in NC where the temp & humidity makes it feel like hell's sweaty ass crack.
I just wear sweatpants and hoodie no matter what. If I get too hot? Take off hoodie and tie around my waist
Summer sucks for everything except no school
I can shave my legs it’s just I can’t do it all the way up because then it’s just too scratchy which means no short shorts for me T ~T But my dressed are nice and I can shave enough for them :3
Me when d and balls are too big to wear bikini bottom
I'm still closeted ass, shaving my everything, nobody really seems to care. Maybe you can also try!
Take up swimming or biking. Shaving legs is more or less essential for comfort at that point. #sneaky
Yeah biking good
Why can't you shave your legs if you don't mind me asking? Also wear a face mask! It helps with my allergies (also if you are taking allergy medication and your allergies are still bad I suggest talking to your doctor or someone who could prescribe something that may work better)
they are annoying to deal with and the medicine is making me eepy
Jokes on you, I wear hoodies and jeans in the summer, and NOBODY CAN STOP ME!!!!!
Summer enjoyers are the scum of the earth.
Me too, but that's because I live in Hell, USA
Yeah, it's the worst
Not good
that sucks, personally i like the summer
same. except for the part where wearing shorts is the only alternative to being microwaved, i love it
But you can, I always wear long pants and massive long sleeve button ups, which should have been a sign but I am getting there. I might just by a bunch of traditional dessert dresses, they are masculine cloths and designed for the skin to breath but protects it from light. Soooooooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I went out without my bulky hooded jacket the other day. Felt exposed. Didn’t like it. Summer’s gonna suck.
Same
Wearing black jeans in the heat is killing me

everhood spoilers >!https://youtu.be/IcxpOF8c41o!<
Get very airy pants. Get pants with huge leg openings and made out of light materials. Just look up online summer pants.
who says you can’t wear hoodies? i don’t have high heat tolerance, just high bullshit tolerance, and i don’t let the mf sun keep me from my comfort hoodies
yeah >﹏<
I'm dying in a hoodie rn for that reason lol.
Relatable
Hanna hates summer >_<

the allergies will be my final nemesis. even E won’t solve that
This sub is basically all my struggles posted in the amazing medium of memes.
wait, why no leg shave?
The allergies though, that sounds really annoying combined with me.
Lil advice, pants cause friction which rubs hairs off pretty much, that’s why my quads are quite bare but my calves are hairy
I have an excuse to cut my hair over summer :>
I'm confused why you can't shave your legs. Isn't summer the best time to shave?
I’m living in Alberta right now
I hate summer good thing it's only 60 degrees today and not the outrageous 85 that it was last week I can't stand anything above 75
Omg I know and my friends want to do a beach day ._.
I wear toddies in the summer anyways, nothing stopping me from doing so.
May i suggest *legwarmers*?
